It's a different battle style. Which the key will be proper handbrake U-Turn and reverse course knowledge.

Confirmed was a tough battle your VX220 realy got the best of me here, I need to find out whats causing my S14 to wear the fronts quicker than the rears

I believe it may have something to do with your LSD setting (its too strong). Try also not having the suspension too low (maybe softer dampening too) to have more neutral handling due to the over steer that will be pronounced with the decreased LSD ratio's. I hope this helps you mate! :)

BTW nice pictures, I feel like I'm reading the manga the way its shown 👍

This sounds like a great idea! Too bad I won't be able to play tonight :(

Well I challenged kado to this battle as we hadn't raced yet in class A I went into to it expecting a loss knowing he drives the R1 but thought i'd try and challenge him anyway to see how I would do.
Round 1 I chose to lead and for the first half of the lap kado was right behind me less then 0.5 seconds but shortly after as I glanced back I noticed he dropped back, I didn't know what happend at the time but I saw this as a chance to get the victory, kado couldn't catch me up enough before the end and I crossed the line 2.5 seconds ahead.

I consider that a very lucky win on my behalf, after the battle kado told me he got snap oversteer mid corner which explained his reason for falling back.

-Confirmed good driving m8 wish I could have given you a better run but there's always next time.

It was a tight race, but then Han went too wide at one of the later corners and I passed. Great race.

Confirmed, I didn't expect the Garaiya to corner this fast so I lost my cool a bit on round 3.

Very exciting battle, we were right on each other's bumpers for the first few rounds and then I damaged my front suspension a bit on round 3 when I tried to take a corner too fast to lose Maccer. Fortunately I managed to control it and then proceeded to pass Maccer on the following round in a hairpin where he usually had a bit of understeer, the good condition of my tires allowed me to keep the lead until the end of the lap (wait was that 4 or 6 rounds, I can't remember :P). Awesome clean race, getting a bit drifty towards the end :)

Fast battle, result settled in one round. We started with me leading, chev right on my rear bumper until a tricky corner where he lost his line and lost speed. I started to pull away, finishing with a 5 sec gap. One tiny mistake gave my R34 the victory. :)

Confirmed great race mate, my S14 couldnt cut it, I thought i was onto a winner with that S14 in week one as I got alot of early wins but all them battles only lasted 3 rounds max, since then I tryed to reduce oversteer but ended up making it understeer more and feel unbalanced need to review my S14 setup fully before I contiue to battle Beta.

It's ok to sign up. Just go to the bottom of the 2nd post and you should find a link called join season 3. As for the S15, as long as it meets the requirements, the car is fine. Hope you join us.

I'll add you, if that's good with you and yup, I'll check the post out, Just checked my S15. I'm going to lower it down to 450PP, because I don't think she can run run with the big Rotaries and so on. I looked at the leader-board and saw an Elise *Gulp* wasn't expecting that... they're fast! anyway I'll add you later, thanks for the quick response! :D
Signed up! going to tune her now!

Considering the track being my home course and the wideness of it, I say it was one heck of a battle. I started round 1 leading, but a mistake by me meant that he passed me on the midway, but I regained the position after a slight mistake by Wynter. On lap 2 I passed before the first checkpoint, but Wynter passed me shortly with his superior handling. However, my straight line speed counted at the end when I passed Wynter and he lost by 0.5 seconds. Awesome race anyway.

Oh, Timber, can I change my R34 to something new? The understeer troubles me when the tires are worn.

Well another hard fought battle with the might R1 on badboys course this time
Round 1 chrystal lead first and I was able to keep him close no passing opertunites but I noticed he was getting a litlle twitchy on some turns which gave me hope.
Round 2 and I was able to hold off any pass attempts and at points put a little distance between us.
Round 3 and and i was able to pussh a little harder here my tyres was up to temp and I made a few moves a passing but they was unsucsessfull, I think chrystal may have picked up damage this round as I saw him hit the wall.
Round 4 im leading and pushed hard chrystal couldnt keep pace with me and I spread the gap to 2.9 seconds.

Was a good race chrystal told me it was his first race he used his wheel, once he gets used to it I may have a harder time keeping up, may do some more photos from this race as it was a close one.

Henry challenged me to a battle and I accepted as I dont think we have raced before?
Henry wanted to lead first and I could see my FD was able to keep up quite easy I didnt have much of a chance to make a clean pass so I just stayed as close as I could and waited.
Round 2 I was able to pull away from his R34 shortly after the first sector and contiue to spread the gap slowly to about 5 seconds.

I went into this battle expecting to be destroyed by Round 2. But with badboy making mistakes whilst still trying to get used to a wheel and clutch, it did give me slight hope. Round 2 saw badboy mysteriously slow down and run wide at a corner allowing me to pass. I let him back through and set about trying hard to keep the gap under 3 seconds. I managed to push it into a 3rd run and I tryed my very best to keep that hard charging R1 behind when badboy got close. With about 4 corners to go badboy bumped me by accident which sent me wide. There wasn't enough corners left to try and get back past and badboy was able to steal victory.

My second win ever, It was a long battle for both of us. Well, 3 rounds, but our tires were toast :D Started seeing oversteer from BUDS's MR-S on round 2 and decided to make my move, but I was stopped by understeer from my ITR. Luckily for me, BUDS oversteered a bit too much in Round 3 Sector 1 and I kept increasing my lead from there and won by 3.8 seconds. Great race.

bad lead off using the clutch to give him slight handicap due to my lesser course knowledge. I ran wide into the rail first round but didn't sustain damage just lost a couple seconds. badboy then slowed his pace considerably to give me a chance to catch up and I was able to run a good last sector and keep the gap barely under 2 sec. Second round bad was on my tail first half of lap then slightly bumped my rear giving me a great corner exit speed and slowing him and disrupting his line. I took the opportunity to spread the gap knowing badboy might easily catch back up. I don't think he was able to recover very well and I didn't slow pace not knowing that he had intentionally slowed first round. Lucky win for me and great performance and sportsmanship by badboy, just wish I would have allowed it to go to round 3 for the excitement.

Another R1, another predictable outcome and another battle that lasted longer than it should've done. Shadow's injured hand didn't stop him from sticking right on the back of my twin-clutch gearbox all the way through Round 1. In round 2, I had to drive like a man possessed to try and keep up. I miraculously pushed it to a 3rd run where I ended up understeering early on and Shadow passed me and held me off to take victory.

Not much to say other than my VX has serious stability issues that need to be sorted. I pushed hard and blocked a passing attempt by Shadow early in the race but nearly losing the rear before the hairpin immediately afterwards sealed my loss. Great race while it lasted.

JDM's car choice seems odder than Wynter's Garaiya. Overall I think he did rather well for his first official battle. I sat behind his s15 cabrio in Round 1 to see how he drove against a regular. When he ran wide and hit the wall at the double apex left hander I passed but I made a silly mistake at the chicane which handed the lead back to JDM. In Round 2 I found my stride again and pulled away to a comfortable win. Very good for a first attempt.

Confirmed. Hmmmm, that's strange because even if i bump by mistake i usually back off or give the rival their position back.. I know you were lagging too, which is why I slowed down. Perhaps when i bumped you, you (or I) was lagging. Sorry about that, I feel bad now (but I didn't know) :guilty:

Ok, this is confusing, I was racing Frag and his R34. Ok so we're doing CMSD 1 Sec. If he gets 1 sec for round 1, isn't there round 2? if there isn't, stupid me.... weirdly because I face few people in CMSD 1 sec and I got ahead by 1 sec and I did round 2 with those people I race(to switch leads and chase position) but this race was only ONE round. You have to be joking, ONE round? Someone please correct about this because I'm getting really confused now.

i think its clear to me. cmsd 1 sec i win by a 1 sec gap or higher. i got a 1.6 sec gap, so... sudden death is this way.

Frag is right, if you do a CMSD race and and the leader pulls away above the decided gap they win doesn't matter what round thats why its called CMSD you start in sudden death and have to battle as long as possible. The race you want to do is CM 3laps where you have to race at least 2 rounds where you both get to lead once then you only go to the 3rd race if its a tie at 1 round each as the decider.

**** my life....screw this.....another lose...unconfirmed till I feel better

Actually, CM3's original design is the same as CMSD and can be won in the first round as well. But usually, it's the kindness of some players which allow for the match to continue into round 2 even though they have already won the first round.

I might need to revamp the CM3 system and change it.

Also, Takumi, I'll like LotS to promote for good sportsmanship. So I hope you can learn how to take losses and turn them into motivation to get better!

For me, this was the battle of the week. I was waiting for Tak for at least 1 month, when he suspended a race after being passed. I was not happy at that time, but didn´t submitted race result, althought it was a forfeit by Tak!! Anyway, today I had my chance of getting things right, when Tak challenged me in his home course with a CMSD 1 second battle. I choosed to lead and managed to block his attacks, stay composed when he tryed to pass end, finally pulled away in final sector of Mt. Akina to the finish line with a 1,6xx sec gap!! Awesome battle, and it tasted like a double win, because our "suspended" battle of Season 2. Ready for rematch anytime, Beta or A class!! No matter win or loose, I will for sure have fun!! :)
