Yes you are right. Ideal would be not to cross the center line at all. But as it is really hard not to do so i think the rule for 2 tyres to be able to cross is adequate.
Lets see if this battle style will get implemented and after one season we can evolve the rules for this battle style if there is a need for it.
To be disqualified is quite harsh so the penalty system - 2 or 3 seconds or to wait for the follower - this has to be clarified yet - is good in my opinion.

Yes Timber you are right. This battle style was used in the Manga Over Rev.

Come to the think of it, have you heard of the "Duct Tape Deathmatch" Vasho?

Yes of course. I mean if you are Initial D Fan than you should know about the Duct Tape Deathmatch between Shingo and Takumi.
Never tryed it out in GT5 and not in Real Life heh.
I think this would leave DS3 players out and as well would be very hard to control.
Yes you could watch the replay to see how the wheels turned and from that figure out if the one used or did not use one hand.
But this would be in my opinion to much of work.

Imagine tapeing your thumb to the control stick. lol

Looks like my plans to run my NSX for 3 seasons have been knocked out of balance. I'll need to look towards another serious machine for season 5.

My first battle this season and a battle with non the less as Gr3yKn1ght. Who dont know him he organized the GTTC event.
He did lead the first round and i could see that his Nissan Silvia was having oversteer issues.
I could follow Knight and stay on his bumper due to him loosing speed when coming out of a corner.
2nd round i could outdrive a gap bigger than 3 seconds to give me the win.
Great Race and looking for a rematch.

My 2nd battle this season and what a battle. This race went on for 11 rounds making it an endurance race to see who will have less tyre consumption in the end.
After 11 laps - which was more than 30 minutes of full concentration - which in fact it aint that easy to stay focused - I could overtake King.
It was a very close overtake as we went for a few corners side by side next to each other. I was trying to drive very carefully as not to hit King.
In the end i suceeded and kept the lead until the end.

This was a very long and hard race.

I am realy looking forward to a rematch King. Lets see who will keep focused longer in the next race.

Thx for racing me mate.

Confirmed. It was definitely an epic battle as none of us would give an inch. I was struggling with my front tyre wear in the final few runs which is why the overtake happened. Two incredibly evenly matched 86s takes a lot of willpower in a long duel to see who will crack first. Looking forward to a fierce rematch

hey scor i will battle you when im online kk im a b class racer :D add me its Blaze421 and lets make a day to race, and its your choosing or area to race at

Nothing says anything about people that have racing wheels (G27 in my case) and run the duct tape.

I just looked at the traffic rule on the 1st page and I think you will find that in Japan, the speed limits on the mountain roads is about 40 km/h, give or take 10.

Running 40 km/h in GT5 is really really slow. Too slow for players to stand to become traffic. Lol.

Hua... Fierce! haha... Seems like Class B creates lots of endurance battles!

My first Class A race with Shadow this season and my first ever win against him :D
Was a tough race very tense on my nerves for me,
Round 1 I lead it was pretty close evan paced racing for the first few sectors, I noticed I had got a small gap of around 1.5 sec at the mid point to the race but as we crossed the line Shadow had closed the gap up in the last sector.
Round 2 and for the first sector of the course I got very nervous and and felt like I droped back abit, but I notice I was able to close him in on corner exits and I was soon very tight on shadows bumper.
Coming out of a right hander onto a long straight I got a better exit then shadow and got along side him we enter the next corner which was a tight 90 degree right hander side by side I tryed to early brake to avoid contact but I still ended up knocking shadow wide, I backed of and let him regain the lead.
Round 3 I notice through the first sector im pulling ahead, but around mid point on the track I noticed shadow had droped right back from a spin I asume. This gave me the win.

(P.S Mich-no-Oki is shadows new track not a miss spelling of Michi-no-Eki)

Wynter chose to chase and was on my tail for about a third for the first sector before i started to pull away. Wynter was unable to keep pace with my M3 and fell to a 10 Second gap at the end of the lap.

Confirmed 5/5, good race man, I don't think my S13 is fit for the 450PP range, it might have too much power for those little wheels, making my rear end fishtail alot. I'll stick with it though. I just wish we could change tire width on cars..

I thought of a way of 'trying' to balance the cars. Will test it out after the next event.

Oh alright Timber, its ok though really, I am going to try one more thing on it before I give up :)

Edit: I also think that I chose the wrong car for this PP range, that was just dumb on my end :D. I think it would do waaay better in like the 420pp or even 400pp range.

My first race with timber this season on his home course and a good battle,
Timber was able to out drag me on the first straight so he got the lead into corner 1, this worried me as his SW20 has improved so much its not an easy car to pass like it used to be, there was alot of side by side action where i would nose ahead but then have to back off for the next corner which alowed timber to regain his lead, I managed to make a pass on the outside on a right hander before going into a sweeping left then to the uphill chicane section, from here on out I was able to stay ahead to get the win.

Battle of the ages, me in the good 86, and SK in the crappy modern one ;). Was a good battle, I lead 1st and managed to keep the lead all the way, but had SK on my tail. 2nd round SK was alot quicker through the turns and managed to pull off a 5 second gap. Great fun

Battle of the Hachi Rokus. Henry decided to lead 1st, I was able to keep on him but not right on his tail, I knew he wasnt going to escape though. 2nd round Henry kept up around the 1st section but after a few more turns I was able to get away and lead by 4 seconds. 1st win and probably the only win i'll get this season

Good battle, went into 2nd round with me chasing, I managed to pass blaze but straight away he took the lead again, it was close right towards the end but then blaze oversteered too much around the corner and I cleverly drifted passed him, with only one corner left it was easy to keep the lead. Great battle!

My first race with blaze I belive, never sure what to expect when going into a battle with someone you havnt raced before.
Blaze Lead of first and i noticed fast his SilEighty was strugling to stay balanced through the corners and understeering on exit alot, after a tight right - left chicane blaze got sideways this alowed me to pass and pull ahead to win in round 1.
