Racing the Opel Speedster Turbo brought back my mixed memories from when I ran my old VX220 Turbo. I let darth lead the first round and I could see his stability issues right from the start. With both of us being unknown to the track, I ran a very cautious pace looking for an area to safely commit to a pass. With the prospect of a second run looming, my superior Hachi-Roku continued to sniff around the back of the Opel until darth ran wide at a right-hander leaving a gap for me to sneak past. Once in front I ran away to a 7.3 second gap by the time we crossed the line.

Course: Narikami-Yama
Battle Style: CMSD 1 sec

With my lack of course knowledge, I knew I would ultimately lose to Wynter as it was his home course. I chose to chase and had to push much harder to keep up with the RX-8, but it looked much stronger on this course. As Wynter slowly stretched the gap, my attempts to stay behind were halted when I dropped a rear tyre on to the grass pitching me into a spin. I recovered without damage but Wynter was already 7.2 seconds ahead by the time I crossed the line.

My first battle in a long time, and against an opponant i've never raced before, was a quick battle, GUM lead it off for round 1, made a mistake early on and ran wide, this allowed me to pass on the inside, he stayed on my bumper for the next 3 or 5 corners, but I slowly pulled away to my first victory of the season.

Looking forward to more races with as your skills improve 👍

Another victory for my NSX as I assert my dominance for this season. I chose to chase Twist and saw he was struggling to handle his R32 against my superior machine. I was able to pass Twist on the small uphill climb before speeding off to a commanding win.

Fearing the potency of the FD, I chose to lead this battle but I was able to emerge victorious. I pushed my NSX hard and slowly stretched the gap as Wynter struggled with understeer. By the end of the round I was ahead by a considerable 4.2 seconds which was more than enough for victory

This was a reluctant win for me in a battle spoiled by lag and 2 aborted runs. I chased the FD when we eventually got going and I knew Tak's FD was much weaker than my NSX. I passed Tak when he lagged at the 'dipper' hairpin and he forfeited when he lagged out and spun. Rated down due to lag problem.

So... I'm currently editing and writing down final notes for Touge Rundow Episode 2.

Featured Car & Track are Michi-no-Eki and Scion FR-S. This episode's theme is non-JDM touge. Are there any questions about touge or tuning in general that yo'all would like me to answer? I'm working on my voice-over and other details to have this episode be of a higher production value than the pilot. Any and all suggestions will be considered.

Gentlemen, I must withdraw from this season. I am expected out of town the day after tomorrow for a length of time, and I feel that I can not compete in the current season with that hanging over my head. Good luck mates and may the best car prevail.

I'm an hour late but, since I've been around since the beginning, Happy 1st Bday to Legend of the Streets!

Hi Everybody!!

I'm currently sharing my touge track, Asahi Pass (Mt. Aso; Tarmac)
Optomuscrime and myself will be hosting a small-scale Touge Tournament on this track using Best Motoring/Initial D Cat&Mouse 3 lap rules.

We're looking to have at least 8 participants, but if we can get 16 in the lobby at once, then that would be excellent. This tournament will be completely recorded and feaured in Touge Rundown's 3rd (or 4th) Episode, as Episode 2 is nearly complete.

Reply to this post or PM me if interested, and we'll set up a list of members.
