Due to the popularity of GTA V and the release of GT6 less than 2 months away, I have decided to put LotS on hold until GT6 is released...

It sucks but I figured it was inevitable. Just out of curiosity, how do you think the current rules and regs are going to fit into GT6? I'm wondering if the new tire models and suspension physics are going to help balance the cars, so that the lotus/nsx/etc. are going to be fair and not OP. Either way I'm still probably going to have a hard time winning battles. :P

hey guys im new to gt5 but not touge i was just wondering why you use sport hard tires instead of sport soft. i have tried sport hard tires and lets just say i would of died many times lol. i feel like it is more fun to use sport soft because you have more control over your car.

Because IRL racing on the touge you don't have slicks with a fair amount of grip, Comfort Softs aren't properly modelled and we've figured that Sports Hards are the best tyres to run with.

Plus less grip makes it more interesting.

lol that just gives the advantage to the people with awd while the people with FR cars drift around. and drifting is not faster than taking a corner properly lol. but what ever you say thats yalls thing i was just wondering.

well, AWD cars tend to understeer more, and since battles on average last more than 5 rounds, they start to lose front tire grip.

>Cars that handle with their natural tendencies
>Cars that are on rails

Pick one.

Is L.O.T.S. going to continue in GT5 after the release of GT6? I've just noticed this type of racing and am hoping to give it a try!

Hi guys,

I'm interested in doing some races when you guys start back up, but I have a few questions. I'm not too familiar with GT5, played it a little bit, I mostly come from PC sim racing.

Where can I download the tracks?

Thanks. Looking forward to racing with some of you when you resume.

you can add me, CG3284 I have a good number of the tracks

Yes there will be a LotS on GT6... It might not be right away as i need to work out the new tyre/handling physics, Course creator & if theres a PP system in the game or not.

Hey guys! Its been a while, a long while, since my last post. I'm glad to see the touge community is alive and growing!

I can't wait to see you all in GT6. Hopefully with the new club management features and forums built-in to the game LOTS can reach more people and help the community grow even stronger.

I've been playing often in anticipation for GT6, so you can almost always find me online.

my lobbies are always named "Touge, or DIE!"

I haven't had GT5 for like a year, hence why I can't wait for GT6! I hope they didn't screw up the track editor, and Slender there is still a PP system. Obviously it'll be a while before we start the official seasons but I hope we can have lobbies up pretty soon!

I'm also looking forward to GT6 but my future in touge racing is looking pretty bleak. As much as I want to continue in street racing, my commitments to the GTP <-BTCC-> series look set to overshadow any chances of continuing in LotS.

With the Integra RM Cup approaching it's climax on GT5 and with my plans to run in <-BTCC-7-> in GT6, it regrets me to announce that I will be officially retiring from LotS. I will probably pop into lobbies from time to time to see how things are going.

This league has helped change what I thought about how to tune cars and I've had a lot of great moments racing here, but now I feel it is time to step up to the big leagues on GTP and reach for higher goals in the future. I've met a lot of great people here and hope to see you all online in GT6, but now it is time for me to move on.
