Hey everyone! I'm glad to see some old faces as well as new ones back in the touge scene.
First, I just wanna say that with the touge community would be nothing without people like Timber, ScoRRRp (haha, optomoscrime deserted you, that guy is something else), Slender and all the LotS regulars. We basically built this scene from scratch ourselves and with the advent of GT6 and all the promised features it looks like it's only gonna grow and grow. Give yourselves a round of applause
I've been playing GT6 for a few days now and here's what I've learner in relation to the future of LotS and touge in Gran Turismo:
1. source close to SONY mentioned that the course creator won't be available until at least late January/early February. So until then i say we make due with Mt. Panorama and Matterhorn for battles and practice.
2. The P system is back but i noticed a number of cars have different ratings than in GT5. Namely Zenki FD3S , late model Lan Evos and NA1 NSX's.
3. The tire and physics model is vastly improved over GT5 and allows for a more nuanced behavior for all cars (AYC doesn't suck anymore!!).
4. The tire modeling is quite impressive and feels far more authentic, sports soft tires aren't as sticky as GT5 for example.
5. Sports Hard tires are way more capable of handling the power and weight loads of more powerful cars than in GT5.
Take these points with a grain of salt, as PD will be consistently updating the game. I'm still busy building my garage up but i hope to see you guys on the touge soon!
