If you are farming for cash, tokyo wtc 600 is a far better option than le mans wtc 700. Best farming stop in gt7
Well I am farming but I find Le Mans is way more enjoyable. I think the consensus is that Tokyo is much harder to win - at least that's been my experience. Won it once in a non Tomahawk and that was good enough for me.

And I enjoy Le Mans much more for the history and the random weather challenge (Spa too). Tokyo holds no such allure for me...

Tokyo is pretty easy with the right cars (like Aston VGT). But I am with you, Lemans is more fun. You win the same money, and it takes ~6 minutes longer on average. I wouldn't call Tokyo far better just due to winning $825k in 6 minutes shorter time.

Yeah the Aston VGT is what I used actually. And it's not too hard to complete a run without kissing the wall for a 5 second penalty (seemed to do that all the time in the Tomahawk - LOL).

What other cars do you like? Might try it again at some point. A lot of people like the F40 I think...

FYI: for anyone seeking the Three Legendary Cars Trophy, the Ford GT Mk. IV is in the dealership. This continues the trend of the 330 P4, XJ13 and the Mk. IV showing up more frequently compared to other cars.

Also, the Escudo and Roadster have gone into limited supply.
Is it still $4.6m?

If you're farming for cash, randomness is the worst thing you can have.
Le mans takes 30/32+ mins and has variable weather witch can screw your race if the RNG gods are not on you're side.
Tokyo takes 26/27mins (even 24 if you use an exploit tune for the chaparal 2j), and its always the same weather. It has a stupid 5sec penalty if you hit the walls hard, but that wont be a big problem most of the times.
Tokyo takes less time and has less variables that can screw your race. So its a better farming spot.

I think there is a flaw in this reasoning.
If you repeat the same race over and over you get bored and burned out. You will play less and earn less.
So for maximum cash farming, better play a mix you enjoy, even if it earns you 10-20% less per hour than the theoretical most efficient approach.

What if I repeat the same race with different cars?

That's what I've been doing with Sardegna. Trying out all the Gr.3 cars - win the race, buy a new Gr.3 car, buy high RPM turbo or supercharger, race until another win, then buy the next car. Coming to terms with different cars in the same race is sometimes as diverse as trying a different race. Aim is to get all the Gr.3 cars this way, then move to the WTC700 races and get all the Gr.4 cars...

I’ve been doing the same and enjoying it quite a bit

I am actually doing similar thing but stopped using only sardenga race. After getting all group c cars money comes as second thought for me and started to enjoy the game more.

So I am using all WTC 800 events for this.

Roulette Bonanza left me with enough cash to buy myself a second GT-R GT500 🥰

Basically Le Mans, Sardegna, and Spa are just much more enjoyable for me than Tokyo, so I rotate those three.

Le Mans is my favorite. The random weather is part of the fun for me, as is managing fuel and tires. I enjoy trying to win with different cars. When I started out I'd run the 80s, 90s, and modern Le Mans cars. Good cars to learn this track on as they give a lot of leeway with good fuel economy and pit strategy. Many of these cars are an auto win for me now, if I'm looking to grind credits.

Lately I've been having fun trying to win with all the classic 60s Le Mans cars and I've been getting my first wins in road cars. Ferraris have been fun - won with the F40, Enzo, and LaFerrari and got second with the Fxx K. Not enough top speed on the Fxx K...

What I regret at Le Mans is that the stints are two short, just 2 or 3 laps. I would really like is 4-5 lap stints at Le Mans.

Well you can do 4 or 5 lap stints in many Gr. 1, 2, or 3 cars, like the 787B. You can even do a zero stop race in some of them. I'm actually liking the short stints in the road cars because I find the 0 or 1 stop strategies easy wins. Many of the two stop races I have to chase down several cars on the last two laps after the second stop (I'm looking at you Portillo and McKewall, or whatever his name is in the Corvette!). Exciting racing!

Is it any good? I've seen a lot of reviews saying people are dissappointed in it...

Yeah it's nice. Its not OP though if that's what you mean. It's about the same as any other Gr.3 car.

It's not 2.2M better than the other Gr.3s - you're essentially paying for the legendary status.

It'll win all the WTC800 without a single modification (726PP) on RH.

The answer to the question "what's the best way to make money" is the 2J or Alpine A220 on Tokyo. i think it's silly to muddy a straightforward question with unquantifiable variables.

If someone finds those cars or that track unfun, there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing other cars or other races, especially since the payouts on several of them are reasonably close. But those options ARE slightly inferior in terms of "best way to make money", so they are objectively the wrong answer to anyone who asks that question. What one does with that answer is of course up to them, and I'd heartily recommend doing whatever one thinks will bring them the most joy.

But until someone asks "what is the most FUN way to make money" ... see my first paragraph.

I feel the old-school Super GT500 cars have a noticeable upper hand in downforce aerodynamics compared to the GT3 cars. They share Gr. 3 of course, but the subtleties between them are different enough.

The Roadster and Escudo are sold out. Curious to see if they slot them at the end of the rotation (which was the Willys iirc) or if they’re just going to be put in random spots since there really isn’t a set pattern any more.
