Congrats! I have 2 left in the LCD and 2 Invitation-Only cars that came up when I first started playing and had nothing. I have all the credits I need for all of them but I'll probably get the LCD cars long before the I-O cars. The LCD is bad but the Roulette system seems worse. Now I would have to check in and drive every day just for a 10,000 credit or a car I already have but I don't know if I care enough after all this. GT needs new designers. The core driving and graphics are excellent but the stuff on top is malpractice.
Thanls! True, at first i was not planning to buy every LCD car because i don't want to drive an S Barker Tourer, certainly not for 20 mil but I changed my mind when i could not finish my menubooks because op de spider Porsche, since then i have to drive to buy all cars in the game .
But ineed getting those invitations are bad due to only getting them true roulette, i don;t know if it designed to do so, but since i collecten all the ivitation cars i think i have never received an invite again true roulette, and i'm playing every day.
But there certainly is room for improvement indeed!
Good luck collecting the invites and the 2 LCD's :)

I've had 5 invitations all year, Huarya, Veneno x 2 and Citroen GT x 2 ( after winning it as a gift car!). It's the worst mechanic in the game, not least one where collecting is a big part for many players

One thing to say about the ticket system (not a defense) but I think many people took advantage of that time early in the game where we had tickets for every manufactuer and thus was able to buy every one of those cars.

I was not one of them and I can only say I have had about three invites since then and still elected not to buy the cars.

The LCD at least is much better in that we know a car will 'eventually' reappear he hopes...

^^^ Really? That crazy.

Is there an “average” amount of time it takes to get all the invite cars or does it vary drastically?

I’ve only started playing a couple months ago (since some time in October) and have had 8 of the 10 invite cars since before the last update; the Lamborghini Veneno & Citroen GT are the only two cars I’m missing.

If I remember correctly, in addition to Pagani & Ferrari, I’ve got the Aston Martin invite at least 2 times, Bugatti 2 times and Porsche 2 times.

Was really hoping the last two would show up soon, but sounds like that wont likely happen

That‘s the million Cr. question. That’s why:

Players have to bank on other players clicking on it when they didn’t have the funds or clicking on all the Hagerty Cars, like, right now.
I can see the connection and logic, but is there proof that cars appear based on the number of users adding them to their wishlists?

Another LCD question probably asked already, looking for insight/opinions:

Do the price prediction arrows mean the price will rise/fall on the next showing, or does it mean the price is generally heading in the direction over a longer timespan over multiple appearances?

For example the F1 was 19.4 and recently increased to 20.0 and still shows the up arrow. Doubt the price will go any higher than 20mil (but you never know).

We’ll never see the actual numbers.
From 23 December additional cars will be available to purchase at 'Used Cars' and 'Legend Cars' chosen from the most popular cars added to the player's Wishlist. These additional cars will be displayed with the 'HOT' icon.

Here's your chance to get your hands on your dream car!

With two exceptions, the arrows/lack of arrows reflect what happened to the price of a Hagerty's car in the previous price update. Those exceptions are:
  • The appearance/lack of an arrow on a car that had been in Hagerty's prior to a price update, as long as the price didn't change with immediate effect. In this case, it is predictive of what the price will be in its next appearance.

Do note that the 1995 McLaren F1 GTR, which appeared the midnight prior to the November price update, had its price increase with immediate effect, so the up arrow that was on it after that update and, if it comes back before the February update, the up arrow that will be on it, is simply reflective of its price increase in November.

  • The appearance/lack thereof on a car first added after the last price update. There have been two post-launch cars that had an up-arrow applied to them on their second appearances between price updates, and those meant absolutely nothing as far as I can tell.

Since the "Last seen in the dealership" site is still offline, I should ask:

Does anyone remember approximately when should the Ferrari 250 GTO be in the LCD? And which cars should appear right before it?

Not counting the Escudo and Roadster, I think there are 4 cars ahead of it.
Should be after the Cobra 427.
My list seems to be still working…..https://gtdb.io/gt7/legend-cars/

Suzuki Escudo Hostage Crisis - Day 148

We now have our first car that has made FOUR appearances since the Suzuki Escudo was last available on 8/10/2022. The 1988 McLaren MP4/4, added a month after the Escudo, seamlessly transitioned from "HOT" status to its normal spot in the rotation...without selling out or having its status changed to "New".

Of the 65 Hagerty's cars not part of a trophy, not the evergreen Dior Mangusta, not the fellow hostage Ford Roadster (missing 134 days and counting), and not the new-for-December 1995 Toyota Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car, only 14 have made only one appearance since the Escudo was last seen, while 42 have appeared twice and 8 have appeared three times.

it's one of the only two cars I'm waiting for in the LD now. I think it's about 6 away if they keep skipping the Escudo and the Ford Roadster and don't jump up on the list again. After those I believe it's the Ferrari 365, Peugeot 205, BMW McLaren F1 GTR, Ford Mustang Boss 429, and the Shelby Cobra 427 if I have it right.

The Ferrari 365 is in the LCD right now and has been for 1-3 days.

EDIT: If there's anything I can wishlist for you in hopes it'll show up soon, let me know. :)

I've been looking for the Escudo myself for a couple of reasons. One is to wishlist it so it will hopefully come back a bit more often and two is to put the USA livery on one. I tried wishlisting from my garage to no avail. ATM I only have the one Escudo and it was an impulse buy when I had nearly saved enough for the Porsche 919. Instead I ran a few more CE's and bought the Escudo, for what reason I could not fathom at the time.

The Citroen is a nice ride for some of the menu books. Fun fact: one Citroen model, a diesel powered CX Pallas, was noted in the 1970's for it's fuel economy. I can't find the reference now, but IIRC it was in the 50 mpg range. Imagine driving this with the Dual Armstrong power steering units common to any car.
I had looked this up when my brother got his first car: a 1981 Grand Prix LJ. Dad bought a similar car for the family. Fitted with a Gen 1 and a Gen 2 GM 5.7 liter diesel, they both got 25 MPG under their own power and pre 1982 models got infinite mileage whilst being pushed by hand (1982 saw the still underpowered but more reliable gen 2 engine sold.) They were in that same top 10 mpg list.
By comparison, the 1979 VW Rabbit turbo diesel was highest rated of all 10 at 80 mpg... take that, you Prius!

See ya in the rearview mirror!

The Escudo and the Ford Roadster are never coming back given we're now 2 weeks from every other Hagerty's car, including the new-for-December Celica rally car, making at least 2 appearances since the Escudo last sold out.

The Rabbit never got to 80 mpg in EPA testing (the best was 1983/1984's 61 mpg highway, while the 1979 topped out at 55 mpg highway). The turbodiesel introduced in the rest of the world in 1982 never made it to the Rabbit, only coming to the US when the Mk 2 was finally introduced as the Golf in 1985.

It they decided to go full realism then certain cars such as the Ferrari F40 and F50 should be available pretty much 24/7 since there always seem to be a few for sale in real and cars like the CLK-LM and F1 GTRs should show up maybe once a year, but it sucks that the Escudo hasn't shown up yet. Hopefully the next update doesn't mess up the order any further.

How long will the Mclaren longtail be in there?
According to this site which seems to be very accurate the F1 GTR '97 will be there for 12 more days.

The diesel Rabbit/Golf could race that 8hp 500 around the ’ring.:)

To make it fair for that 8hp 500, make it a diesel Dasher wagon (which, back in the day, my dad had). Same engine, much more weight.
