Wasn't the 300SL previously significantly less than 20m? I'm sure I hovered over buying it and passed both times as I didn't like the interior colour.

Yes it used to be.

I, unfortunately, did not start playing this game until it had shot up to 20M credits. I have no clue why this car should cost 20M credits though. Same with the Alfa. Just because they won some sort of awards in real life for their "elegant design", they are pretty much useless in a racing game. I would think something like the Tomahawk or some of these insanely good race cars would be worth more credits in a racing game.

In any case, I only have 19M credits, so I'm buying the McLaren and will maybe spend 45 minutes trying to go faster at Watkins Glen in the TT to get the gold medal. If my auto-grinding cant get me up to 20M credits by the time the Merc is gone, then so be it.

The Mercedes 300SL W194 1952 will be available for 11 more days.:)

Tonight's new car is the 1973 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC110). That essentially puts the rotation back in order, with just the Shelby Cobra 427 and Porsche 962 C, along with the March and April additions, ahead of where they were.

Currently, none of the cars in stock has an arrow. If that remains the case after the 1.35 update, that car will not change in price in its next appearance (assuming it makes it back before the September update). If one or more of them gets an arrow (with the GT-R also not changing from its 542,000-Cr. price), then its price will go up/down (depending on the arrow) on its next appearance. If the GT-R gets an arrow and its price changes, then the arrow is reflective of that change, not predictive of a change in its next appearance.

Bad news - unless the RNG generator for appearance length is fixed (it's currently broken), it's going to last 9 days total, selling out on 7/7.
How do you know the RNG generator is broken and not just adjusted based on the increased amount of LCD cars that have been added on the updates?

I have a spreadsheet that has every appearance of every car, and, other than the recently-departed Mondial, every car has had the same length of appearance their last couple appearances.

Okay, so if their length of appearance has been the same for the last couple appearances, aren't they on time? I mean, it sounds like the Mondial may have been different, but how does that one occurrence make the RNG broken?

Let's see - 70-some-odd cars, a few trips through the rotation (more with the three "trophy" cars), and almost every car appearing the same length of time over that span when, for the first couple of trips through the rotation, most cars had a varying length of appearance? That's not coincidence.

So how do you guys afford them? I bought a 962 and that bankrupt me. Do you just do the SPA 1h race over and over?
You’ll make less in the long run just running Spa 1h over and over. Grind LeMans, Sardegna and Tokyo to make Cr. fast and avoid total burnout, unless you reeeeeally love Spa and never get bored with it. You can throw in Spa sometimes to add more variety, just know over time it’s a bit less Cr. per 1h of gameplay than others if your sole intention is to grind Cr. as quickly as possible.

@Eggstor First you said this:

So I read this as you saying the RNG timeline is "broken" and that the usual 11 day cycle has been changed to a 9 day cycle. Okay, no problem. I then asked if the RNG cycle may have changed because more Legendary Cars have been added to the list. You said:
I have a spreadsheet that has every appearance of every car, and, other than the recently-departed Mondial, every car has had the same length of appearance their last couple appearances.
I read this as, "the cycle has been the same for months and only the Mondial had the discrepancy of 9 vs 11 days". I responded:

Based on my previous understanding of what you were saying, I felt that a 1 car anomaly does not make for a "broken" RNG cycle. You then say:
Let's see - 70-some-odd cars, a few trips through the rotation (more with the three "trophy" cars), and almost every car appearing the same length of time over that span when, for the first couple of trips through the rotation, most cars had a varying length of appearance? That's not coincidence.
This sounds like a jumbled up mess to me. Is the timeframe for Legendary cars consistent or do they have a varying length of appearance? You say one thing in one quote:
every car has had the same length of appearance their last couple appearances
then oppose that position in your next:
most cars had a varying length of appearance
