Ford Roadster Hostage Crisis Day 302 - It's over!
Good to know, now I wonder if my other gacha game Genshin will finally release Eula from her banner hostage crisis which currently totals about 541 days since wer could last pull her so the Ford Roadster actually won a bet I placed about which would appear first in either game.

Guess I will have to buy the two I promised myself if Eula lost the bet. :)

Ugg, the Roadster is black. I'll wait until it comes in red...

🤣

The handling of the Chapparal caught me off guard with how much grip it has though it can also easily spin out which makes it a very tricky car to drive IMO.

Still no F1 Road car wtf? I really hope we do not have a new hostage…
Did any of this 4 cars appear tonight?
DB3S CN.1 1953
250 GTO CN.3729GT 1962
300SL W194 1952
2000GT 1967

Maybe Eggstor is right and the F1 really is gonna be over 20M and so it wont appear till the next price adjustment?

It's likely not a full-fledged hostage like the Suzuki Escudo and Ford Roadster were, but based on the Ferrari F40 situation last April/May/June, it possibly will be the first car to go over the 20,000,000-Cr. mark. The other cars that last appeared before today's new arrival, the Ferrari 365 GTB4 (which last showed up on 3/27, selling out on 4/7), and possible candidates to have their prices increased:
  • 1953 Aston Martin DB3S - last appeared 3/22, selling out 4/3, last went for 6,000,000 Cr.
  • 1973 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC110), last appeared 3/23, selling out 4/3, last went for 542,000 Cr.
  • 1952 Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1, last appeared 3/23, selling out 4/3, last went for 1,000,000 Cr.
Also, the 1952 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W194), while last appearing a day after the 365 GTB4 (3/28), sold out a day before it (4/6), and is also currently one of the 20,000,000-Cr. cars.

Given all the current 20,000,000-Cr. cars can take a new engine/new body from GT Auto, we'll know if they are slated to go up in price when we get access to the update.

250 GTO CN.3729GT 1962

Nope. As I said above, the DB3S is also overdue for a return, and the W194's last appearance was right after tonight's new car (though there are 4 cars, including the road-going F1 and DB3S, that are currently overdue). The 250 GTO and 2000GT are still several cars beyond that away.

In addition to the two cars that sold out overnight, there are two more due to sell out Monday night and one more due to sell out Tuesday night. Those 5 changes should be the last changes to Hagerty's before the update on Thursday morning. I don't think the Jaguar XJ13, the "trophy" car gone the longest, will be back before Thursday, and all of the most-recent additions had their second appearances, so it should strictly be from the rotation.

The 5 cars that, using the last-appeared date, would come after the W194 are:
  • Christian Dior De Tomaso Mangusta (last appeared 4/1, last sold out 4/9)
  • 1986 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 (last appeared 4/3, last sold out 4/13)
  • 1997 BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car (last appeared 4/4, last sold out 4/17)
  • 1994 Toyota Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car (last appeared 4/5, last sold out 4/18)
  • 1998 Suzuki V8 Escudo Pikes Peak Special (last appeared 4/6, last sold out 4/16)
The Ferrari 250 GTO did last sell out on 4/16 (earlier than the F1 and Celica), but it last appeared on 4/8 (the same day as the 2000GT, which sold out on 4/17). Also, the older Alfa Romeo 8C (its appearance prior to the current one began 3/27, and it is also another 20,000,000-Cr. car), came back 5 days ago and a bunch of spots early.

We already have had 2 cars that have come back well earlier than the rotation would suggest:
  • 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 (its appearance prior to the last one began 4/8, and hit sold-out status 4/21, though its most-recent appearance was in early May and appears to be a one-off shift)
  • 1988 Porsche 962 C (its appearance prior to the last one began 4/10, with no other new cars on 4/8, 4/9 or 4/10, and hit sold-out status on 4/20, with its most-recent appearance happening right about where the 1994 McLaren F1 was supposed to be)

The McLaren F1 is up and its only 20M
Since the Hagerty's price adjustments aren't until Thursday, that likely takes out the road-going F1 and the returning DB3S from the price hikes. Assuming regular order has been restored, that would give us the elderly Abarth and 1973 Skyline tomorrow night and the W194 Wednesday night. Of note, we've had a car appear just before a price update and had that increase take immediate effect.

Eggstor do you think its the Ferrari 250 GTO?

Found this video on YouTube maybe the price increase will be for 100M.

Finally a new color for the F1! And only 19 miles! I guess it was worth the wait and I’ll take 2 of them :D
Right now I'm debating rather I should just say hell with it and buy 5 more F1s but then I remind myself that I still need 3 more cars and plus the Aston martin Valkyrie is coming in a few days.

What to do?:(

Buy them all that's what billionaires do 😁 Besides the Valkyrie should be in Brand Central so you can buy 20 of them at any time.

Well, I have 16M right now, so I'll likely get the McLaren later this week. That W194 is also 20M, right? Probably won't be able to grind enough to buy that in time as I'm gone all this coming weekend through the 4th. So 4 days of grinding will be missed. That sucks as it won't be until [possibly] October before it comes back.

Currently at $13 million, I think I will grind again to re-purchase a second McLaren F1 as I sold my first one months ago, I imagine it would be pretty useful for the LeMans 700 as similar cars like the F40, F50 and Diablo GT can pass it with no issues.

You could always buy less than 5. I usually buy one or two of a car then see where my credits are when it’s about to sell out and I might get another.

Tonight's new cars are.

The Mercedes Benz 300SL W194 1952 - 20M
The Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T. 1 1952 - 1M
Maybe we won't see a car over 20,000,000 Cr. this time around. The W194 is slightly early (I would have expected the Kenmeri GT-R tonight, with the W194 tomorrow night).
