Missing 4 cars from Hagerty currently. I already know that Ford Roadster is supposed to come on 22nd, Mclaren F1 '94 is scheduled to be soon as well I believe. Do you guys have estimates on Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta '38 and Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W194) Coupé '52 though? Asking mainly to see if I can be done with the legendary cars before vacation.

You can check when they was last seen here and add 3 months at least and you will roughly know when the car (s) will appear.

I’m guessing it will be another 2 to 3 weeks at most. The Alpha comes right after the CLK-LM and the Mercedes a few cars after that.

I'm waiting for the Aston Martin DB3S '53 to show up again, it's a bit over 3 months since last time, so it should be reappearing really soon... I hope.

And the Alfa shows up instead of the McLaren F1. That’s one car I have 0 interest in buying another of while I have had the credits for 2 more F1 road cars for quite awhile now…

They wouldn't are you saying the F1 maybe over 20M when it shows up?
That's exactly what I'm saying. That would make the third price increase for the road-going F1 (from 18,500,000 Cr. to 19,400,000 Cr. in the 1.15/May 2022 increase, and up to the current 20,000,000 Cr. in the 1.26/November 2022 increase.

I’m thinking Kaz was/is relying too much on community play. The only way these prices make sense, to mock the real world, are if players continually engage with one another.

If majority of players don’t use Sport Mode, what’s the purpose of feeling accomplishment for buying these high priced cars?
It’s way different, to past games, where we collected rare cars as race completion gifts and from UCDs. Buying Credits to buy these in games cars, has a lesser effect than purchasing cars with real money, like in GT Sport. There’s no sense of ownership in acquiring cars the MTX way.

I’m not even thinking about grinding. Just seems like PD-Hagerty smearing the rare cars of their status symbol among players. Players know what it takes to get these cars and it sullies the accomplishment of earning them. All in my opinion, of course.

I somehow doubt that. Did Nenkai discover this or something?
I don't believe the band of data-miners have the post-1.35 prices yet. I'm basing it on that the F1 was due next and the 8C wasn't due until late next week (likely after the update), and that PD pulled that delay stunt before (cough...F40/RX500...cough).

I'm 6 cars away from getting them all.

I'm still waiting a Lamborghini invite for the Veneno '14.

and like many others I'm waiting for the Ford Model-T.

I started the week with a 100m cr in the bank but I'm now down to around 50m cr. Any idea on when these might show up and how much more grind I've got to do?

The four are the Aston DB3S, F1 road car, Merc 300SL '52, and Merc CLK-LM. The 300SL and F1 are 20,000,000 each and the other 2 are probably around 3-5 million each.

Ford Model-T
It's a deuce Roadster, a somewhat later model than the T.

The F1, as noted above, is 20,000,000cr, but might be more. The W194 is also 20,000,000cr, the CLK-LM is 6.5m, and the Aston is 6m.

So you'll need about 52.5m for these four.

DB3S for the Aston….around 5 mil.
‘52 300 SL for one of the Merc’s.
And the CLK for the other.
‘94 F1 for the Mclaren

Thank you! Weird, I thought I had bought the CLK-LM some months ago but I guess I missed it. Similar I thought I had the F1 but I see now that there are two versions of it.

Opps on the Ford. Somehow the Model-T got stuck in my head. See, that is what happens when a car has been unavailable for so long... You forget what it is.

52.5 cr? I'm good then..

So, I picked up the Alfa and now I only need the F1, the old Benz and the old Ferrari to complete my 20M credit car collection. Unfortunately, I only have 9M in the bank right now. Auto-grinding is not making me as many credits as I need to keep up with this predicted pace of 20M credit car releases.

Auto-grind should yield around 10m cr per day. Do the 2m cr esport race if you haven't already and knock out some time-challenges...

Need to double-check the list, but after buying the MP4/4 I think I'm down to 6 remaining. Unfortunately 4 of them are 20 million CRs each:

Shelby Daytona Coupe
Ferrari 250 GTO
Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W914)
Mercedes-Benz S Barker Tourer
Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring
Chaparral 2J

Only after the first 3 to be honest. Don't really want the fridge, and I know that technically I could get it for free by learning to drift, but may grab it next time just to mark it as done. Hopefully the others don't appear for a while (I know the Shelby was just there) and I can naturally build up the bank balance from TTs and GTWS - can't face the grind at the moment.
The 2J is in the legends now.
