That Mercedes is really a beauty. Wouldn't mind a couple more cars like this one to have an event with just these 20/30s cars.

PS: For some who want to drive this car and can't buy it, there's a Music Rally event where you drive the Mercedes S Barker. You can get a bit of a feel for it, and it's not as bad as one would expect from a car of the 1920s...

after I stopped laughing hysterically from the idea of installing the race computer into it, I finished upgrading the Barker and just put on similar tuning that I’ve used on other cars. 625pp or so with hard tires, every upgrade but the bore up and racing shaft.

the barker absolutely rips. I did the two lap Nurburgring GP Sunday cup just to see how it drove, threw on the inters, and took the lead after one lap. It is not the easiest car to turn, but it’s amazing to drive.

update: ran the german league race at Nordschliefe and won by a few seconds. this thing is for real.
That is One hundred percent "Gran Turismo". 🤣

It's on par with Running the Escudo Pikes Peak rally car in a GT Allstar race.

Interested in the McLaren GTR and Porsche 962 (And Sauber). That's about it, honestly. Hoping the Porsche is reasonable as the other Group C cars have been... the McLaren has me a bit nervous. Got ~15 mil sitting around. We shall see.

Edit: Never mind. Too harsh…

On another note, I no longer care what appears in the LCD as I’m not making any significant money in this game. I’m burnt out on Circuit Experience and most of the events that pay better after the economy update don’t really interest me.

Cheer up. Try some laps with my Tomahawk-setup at Le Mans 30 min.

The thing that kills that race for me with the Tomahawk is that halfway through the race you run out of your boost and then you're forced to drive like a peasant without the ability to go fast. Major buzzkill.

That’s unfortunately not how I like to play the game. I’m spending most of my time trying out different cars and tunes in the Sunday Cup, Clubman Cup and FR Challenge events. These pay almost nothing and weren’t affected by the recent economy changes, so nearly all my profits go toward upgrade parts, tires, and the occasional used cars I still don’t have.
I still have a good handful of CEs left to gold, but for the time being I need a break from that.

Then set up the AFK farming method and earn credits while you sleep :)
