Legendary cars dealer refresh

I have buyers remorse from the Skyline so far. On its own, it's not bad. But the Castrol Supra makes it obsolete to anyone who just wants a fun gt500 classic. I'd happily resell it for 2M and take a loss.

I rarely play, so I spent all but 300k of my money on a car that I don't get a ton of enjoyment from. Really want the 155, and at this rate I will probably not have the money to buy it. Should have gotten the 787B
The Alfa 155 was like 900k. You can get a guaranteed 825k running the 600pp Tokyo race or the 700pp Sarthe race if you do it today since the clean race bonus is guaranteed at the moment. I'm sure it will be fixed in tonight's patch. Both take around 30min playing fair, but using the Tomahawk X transmission glitch you can run it in Tokyo and finish in 16min (some are even achieving low 14min which is far beyond my abilities)

Anyway, point being you can get the cash for the Alfa in 40min tops without using the Tomahawk, and you've got at least 10 days before it shows up (though 15-18 days is probably a more realistic timeframe)

7.5m later.

Skyline is definitely not the car it used to be in these games.
It was nerfed because a) they don't want to pay licensing for JGTC/Super GT b) Gr. 3 was far and away the most popular category in GT Sport (though not via organic means; you raced what they gave you) so they wanted more content to fall into that class in this game. If you own the SC430 Petronas or the Epson NSX just look at the downforce values compared to the Skyline. 650 max rear for the Skyline, 700 minimum rear on the NSX lol. Power/weight ratio's are very close, but due to this downforce chicanery you can't even setup an online lobby to run all the GT500's in a way that approaches parity. Thanks generic nebulous classing system!

Before anyone says it, yes, the late 00's GT500's have more downforce IRL but they are nowhere near the performance of current Super GT turbo 2.0L i4's. 90's vs 00's GT500 cars are closer in performance than 00's vs current GT500/Super GT, yet the latter are in the same category. Gr. 1 and Gr. 2 have already tossed any sense of "realism" out the window, so giving the older GT500's more downforce (or allowing the Gr. 2's to go lower) so that we can at least create our own GT500 leagues would be no less realistic than the current system.

God I can't wait for them to patch the Tomahawk glitch so I can stop hate-grinding Tokyo and being so pointlessly negative towards the game, lol.

Mileage doesn't work that way.
Yeah, I guess I should’ve known that. In earlier frustration my previous post probably came off as daft. Apart from clocking/busting miles, is there any way to legally have it reset?

I love the sound of the Pennzoil GT-R because it's quite aggressive for an inline 6. As for the handling, it's decent but it can get away from you if you aren't paying attention. Feels a bit sluggish compared to the Castrol Supra.

It’s carrying another passenger with its extra weight over the Supra. Even though it has a bit more torque.

Mercedes S Baker Tourer '29 - 13 Million Cr.
Dodge Challenger R/T '70 - 253k Cr.
Porsche 550 Spyder '55 - 5 Million Cr.
Lamborghini Countach LP400 '74 - 1.1 Million Cr.
Still waiting for the McLaren, but I'm having a panic attack that they are saving it up for last in order to make it 20mill. I'm hoping that I'm wrong but it really feels like they're holding off for something. Pleasantly surprised by the Mercedes though!

after I stopped laughing hysterically from the idea of installing the race computer into it, I finished upgrading the Barker and just put on similar tuning that I’ve used on other cars. 625pp or so with hard tires, every upgrade but the bore up and racing shaft.

the barker absolutely rips. I did the two lap Nurburgring GP Sunday cup just to see how it drove, threw on the inters, and took the lead after one lap. It is not the easiest car to turn, but it’s amazing to drive.

update: ran the german league race at Nordschliefe and won by a few seconds. this thing is for real.

PD decided to save the best ones for last.
PD read your post and posted the S Barker Tourer and the Porsche Spyder 550/1500RS in the same day. Also the Porsche is in that same blue colour.

I'll place my bet and say the McLaren F1 GTR is going to be the last one to appear:

Only the following are left:

Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe (seen at the state of play for 20.000.000)
Jaguar D-Type
McLaren F1 GTR '95
Porsche 962C
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (it's a prize car)
Audi Quattro S1 - (prize car worth 2.000 points so, it's likely 2.000.000 credits)
Jeep Willis (seen at the state of play for 100.000)

Those we've seen at the state of play may not have their prices correct, as seen with the S Barker Tourer which was at 20.000.000 and now it's at 13.000.000
