The Pennzoil Skyline's everything I could ask for. Easily cheese'd the Redbull Ring one hour race with it.

Now if it can cheese the Lake Maggiore race, it practically pays for itself.
If this can average Maggiore under 1:59s with ease some one let me know and I'd buy it .... getting desperate now

Just bought the Pennzoil GT-R as one of the most iconic GT500 cars in Gran Turismo.
It´s a GR. 3 car so don´t expect to much. Of course it handles good as a GT-R but it´s not faster than the regular GR.3 Nissan which costs 2 millions less. ;)

1.59.556 was the fastest I set so far. Easy cheezy

Edit: And that's with mediums and fuel trim 3

Never said it was supposed to be. This is a computer game, not real life. In this computer game, you race cars from different eras against each other to try to win credits.

If you can get the Pennzoil to go faster than the other cars at equal PP, then I totally admit I was wrong.

Some people who don’t have a crap tonne of credits and can’t afford to buy everything might find what I said to be helpful. Which is what I thought these forums were intended for. Again, I could be wrong here too.
I said the same thing earlier. It’s cool, but the Castrol Supra seems far superior for 1M less credits

regarding the subdivision of Gr1 and Gr2 is there not a problem with lack of content/cars for filling out those divisions? a multi class approach might work better with enhanced rewards for placing higher than cars in classes above etc, but as with most of this game any actual development of new ideas is never going to happen.

Explain the point to me of putting the Pennzoil GT-R at 193 kms. Why?

At that point, give ****ing zero instead.

The 787B also has extremly low mileage, but that’s supposedly a reference to its engine being restored after being inactive for 20 years. It could be a similar case with this car.

How is it a stupid complaint? Selling an iconic race car with a few hundred km on it is even more stupid.

The zero mileage cars tell you exactly have much distance you’ve driven in them. This convenience disappears as soon as your Mazda 787B is sold with 35 km under the hood. Pointless.

That could be true. But it’s weird and a shame then that the “New Engine” purchase/function in the Tuning Shop doesn’t actually restore the mileage to zero.

Exactly.

Yes you're absolutely correct. Which is why we need more cars, which given the current pace PD works it will take a decade to get anywhere near the level of cars we'd need to have proper GT500/GT300/LMGTP/LMP1/Group 3 classes. And agreed, it will never happen. I'm really just bitching about all the things that SHOULD be in a modern game of this type that are absent since I have nothing to actually do in the game. Once I get the last few LCD cars, this game is getting shelved for at least a year barring a massive content drop (never going to happen, lol)

McLaren F1 short tail. Where are you? I want you.

GT7. The real waiting game.
Same here, but I'm also curious how much it will cost. I know it's expensive IRL but it would seem like they can't really ask 20m for a Gr.3 car, it would be a ridiculous proposition. I think at that point, it would make more sense to buy the road version. Hoping that the Gr.3 F1 will be under 5m.

Beacause the mileage of doesn't have any influence in the game, the oil deteriorates when you DRIVE the car for more or less 300 km and the 787b had 35km beacaus it was restored to do a parade in the 2011 le mans 24h.

I have buyers remorse from the Skyline so far. On its own, it's not bad. But the Castrol Supra makes it obsolete to anyone who just wants a fun gt500 classic. I'd happily resell it for 2M and take a loss.

I rarely play, so I spent all but 300k of my money on a car that I don't get a ton of enjoyment from. Really want the 155, and at this rate I will probably not have the money to buy it. Should have gotten the 787B

I just wish the Supra and Skyline weren't paired with the modern Gr. 3s because, while the former are more special for a lot of us, they're completely overshadowed by the modern cars.
