Don’t you think waiting two months for artificially time-gated content is too long?
I used to wait 12 months for Christmas and Birthday presents every year! I also wait for summer season every year - 2 months is absolutely nothing. :P

Joke aside, the time gated content system has obviously been implemented to make people stick to the game longer in order to keep them playing it and giving PD time to add new DLC in the meantime.
As I mentioned before, I do not think that concept is ideal, but to answer your question, for me personally its not a big deal at all, I'll probably play the game for many years to come and I am in no hurry.

I'll play the game for years too, but still I didn't have a lot of patience for one of my all-time favorite cars.

Do you have any all-time favorite cars in the legend dealership?

Not really, there are so many cars I love. One that has evaded me is the McLaren F1 longtail, I simply could not afford it at the time it was for sale and I am not much of a grinder, and now its gone. But it will pop up again in a couple weeks or so, I'm not sweating it.
I already have so many cars to test setups with and race with I'm simply too occupied to wait for it.
And I'm going to need some time to get the 9.5 millions anyway.

I bought the Superbird and it's a total dog, but what do I expect from a boat? It's still a great addition.

@tonybarnaby We need an actual GT500 class. I've been waiting on that GT500 R34 as well but those older GT500 cars don't stand a chance against the other offerings in this nebulous "Group 2" that has everything from classic GT500, "current" Japanese Grand Tourer's (if your definition of current is seven years old... brand spanking new for this cash-grab game though, lol) not to mention LMGTP cars. That's three separate categories and there should be distinct races classes for each. Guess that doesn't jive with GT7's copy/paste of GT Sport systems though.
I know the McLaren F1 GTR did compete in the GT500 class in the late 90s. In stock form, it was vastly superior to the other cars, so the engine was extremely limited. But the JGTC cars are classed as Gr.3 in the game and not comparable with the F1 GTR.

Modern Super GT cars are closer to DTM cars than to road cars, so I think it can be a fair match against the late 90s GT1 cars. Gr.2 is basically the most extreme cars you can have short of a prototype, so the classification makes sense.

What doesn't make much sense is the Alfa 155 in the Gr.4 class. The V6 Ti was heavily modified compared to a mundane 155 Q4. In contrast, GT4 cars are almost road cars. The Cayman is the road car with the street legal bits removed and a sequential transmission.

Using the car list and the Legend Car Log, I have narrowed it down to 7 cars that haven't appeared in the Legend Cars Dealership yet.

They are:
• Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Concept 1959 (L)
• Porsche 962 C 1988 (L)
• Porsche Spyder Type 550/1500RS 1955 (L)
• Jaguar D-Type 1954 (L)
• McLaren F1 GTR Kokusai Kaihatsu Racing 1995 (L)
• Nissan Skyline (R34) GT-R GT500 1999 (L)
• Mercedes-Benz CLK LM 1998 (L)

4 of these unseen cars will appear within the next few days since 4 legend cars currently for sale went into limited stock as of 23/04/22.

I will provide an update on this when the changes occur.

We’ve already had the Mercedes CLK-LM. I think you mean the Mercedes S Barker Tourer?

Was in '96 where it won 4 rounds & the championship easily despite handicaps. Further handicaps proposed saw the cars leave. The GTRs of '99 through 2005 were outmatched & not very reliable.

This must be the worst attempt from PD so far, the car in its GT7-version is completely undriveable. And, while having a huge stock wing it has zero downforce. The car spun helplessly on straight road when I shifted up from 3rd to 4th gear, on RH-tyres!

Kaz, you have hereby my deepest contempt

Yeah, I’ve parked it for now. Softened springs, -1 camber, dropped anti-roll bar settings, nothings keeping that rear from rotating to the front.

Still haven't seen the '61 Ferrari GT either, right?

Unless they aren't in the game at all yet, they're all LCD. UCD has had nothing but repeats for a week. Almost the exact same lineup today as it was at launch, with Pantera sold out, '92 NSX, 25th Countach, S800, Civic Touring, and a couple different EVO gen's all available that were there on launch. Still think the UCD has a bit more variability in it as to when certain cars pop, but given we've seen all repeats for the last 8-10 non-BC cars in UCD it has to be done at this point.

Only one of those cars that I could even fathom being in the UCD is the Camaro Z28, but since it was a prize car we can presume it's LCD since every other prize car has been LCD
Top man.Waiting on the Nissan GT500,and Alfa 155.whoop whoop.
Alfa will be a couple weeks still. Even after the car changes this evening we still have 11 more to go before LCD resets. Alfa should be 13 cars away since I believe it was the first car to sell out after launch. Though we've also seen the new system doesn't cycle based on time in the dealership, per se, given the XJR9 went "limited" before the other Group C's that dropped the same day as well as the red pig, Alpine, etc that showed up before the XJR. So I wouldn't expect it for at least 2 weeks, maybe more.

But yeah, I'm looking forward to the Alfa 155 as much as the '95 F1 GTR, Skyline, and 962 C. Missed it the first time around by about 15min, so it's been a LONG wait! Also have 18mil set aside for the old Porsche Le Mans car I missed.

I have had no such problems with the Superbird. However, the Super Bee is terrible on a circuit.

I was pretty shocked how well the super bird did for a land-yacht.

That said, I am neurotic about upgrading a car all the way (racing hards unless it is under 200hp). That car at 2500lbs (all weight stages) is probably a little different than the weight it comes at.

I suspect most people won’t do that before driving it. That said I feel like it’s worth doing- we’ll have these cars for years. I’ve been avoiding wide body / permanent engine upgrades with the mindset that, one way or another, I will race these absurd cars some day. It doesn’t seem like changing the weight or engine makes them ineligible for BOP, for what it’s worth.

Missed the Alfa first time due to lack of credits.:lol:Didnt have enough time to grind to save.

Laguna Seca and Willow Springs. Any circuit I suppose.
Okay try Daytona Tri-Oval. I know classic Stock cars raced on road circuits, but these it’s the only circuit I use both cars. I’m posting video in the Custom Race thread, if you choose to see what’s happening.

That one was pretty early on, 8.2 million.
Oh, now I remember. So it is just 11 cars left.
Oh my rotation, please, today is my birthday! Replace that glorious Jaguar XJR-9 '88 with a cool Nissan GT-R GT500 '99.
Make a kid fond of the old JGTC happy please!

I'm calling the '69 Camaro or the Willy's. I HOPE it's the Skyline or F1 GTR, but have a feeling it's going to be a prize car everyone already has.

It won’t be the Willys Jeep because it already appeared in the LCD.

Yeah, I think I accidentally swapped one of the entries.

Yep, this list is better made, so use this one. (I didn't account for prize cars on mine)

I reckon once all the current legend cars appear, they might repeat them and/or they might add new ones.

Um, I’m not sure I follow where this is going. It was @unfairlane who voiced a concern. I can drive the big old muscles cars just fine, and I only mentioned the Super Bee because it makes the Superbird feel great in comparison. I thought you asked “which circuit” because you wanted to try these cars yourself.
