As it is right now, I've bought the DLC on my "spooble" account. If I log in as "GTP_spooble", the DLC is not available to use, so I would have to buy it again to use it on that account. What they're doing is making it so that once one of your accounts purchases the DLC, it's available to all accounts on that console.

thx for the intel. I'm willing to buy it now!

We can finally change wheels on standard cars!! My prayers have been answered. This was my biggest gripe. Now they just need a virtual world where we can drive our cars to other peoples lounges like a stop on the highway. If on EA and Sony could make Need for GT!

What I'm wondering now is, will be be able to paint the default standard wheels, or will be only be allowed to paint the wells that we switch onto the standard cars.

I'd buy that game if when our cars are damaged we have to head to the shop ourselves for repairs.

Gran Oregon Trailismo!!!

Depends on how fast you hit it!

The samba will be converted to a taco truck, because what goes best with the Oregon Trail? Mexicans!

What's this changing wheels on standards??!!!

Okay, I've started a new thread for the new series.

As I said, I've dropped Lemons from the title because I don't want to stick to lemons cars. Even though I am for the first season. I expect the second season will be 420-450 PP. I will probably bounce around after that depending on what people want to do between 300 and 500. Well, maybe we go over 500 if everything is working well. Maybe.

The first season will be around 350 PP, so we should all have cars that will fit in that. I recommend using weight reduction and engine tuning to get to close to 350 so you can use the bolt on parts to move up the rest of the way and move up and down in the range.

I need to do some more testing to finalize the range.

This sounds like an awsome event do you guys know of anyone doing this type of racing mid day as I work nights I couldn't even think about joining you but it sounds like loads of fun

BTK
Nobody gonna tell me about wheels changing on standards???

Along with the 86.

And the new DLC has a 2011 and a 2012 model in it. Honesty, the only car worth mentioning in the DLC is the Scirocco.

You starting a new Wednesday series? You going to sign up for the Tuesday series?

I'll prolly not do Tuesday, going to gym now that's in the way of racing. I'll work on a wednesday series, but I'll start a discussion thread after new years. Need to work on rules.

Is having a "traditional" Lemons series what you're shooting for?

Yes, back to the basics. No engine reduction, a PP limit, no performance adding until after first race. Just adjusting points/money

I still think Diabolic's idea has some merit. With the exception of one car last week, the rest of the field was tighter than I think we've ever had so late in the season.

I'll give it some time tonight and letcha know what the VAN OF AWESOME can do. Hopefully I can get some pimped out bling (wheels) on my whip before the race tomorrow! 2.02 out tomorrow.. Maybe I'll rock an 86 for Garris's new series!

I did say several weeks ago that the results of the season will be surprising. Had we kept a full complement of racers all the way through...I guarentee this would have been the closest racing on average per race yet. I think tweaking it so this type of scoring doesnt start till a few weeks in could benefit.

Okay, so... it seems tire wear has been fixed. That poses a problem. I don't know if they have changed how I can restrict tires. If all I can do is say Racing Medium or lower, as usual, then it may be worth it for drivers to run in the slower Racing Hards hoping they make up the time in the less frequent pit schedules.

Argh!

Regretfully, I have to withdraw from the final race tonight.

Sorry for the late notice, again.

Tuesdays are no doubt my most difficult, inconvenient night of the week, but since there was only one option night for Lemons this season, I thought I would chance it.

I hope this doesn't exclude me from the PCP series, but even still I might have to refrain from joining it, since I conisder it a serious commitment. Summertime Tuesdays are no problem though.

Good luck to everyone tonight.

Missing a race in the PCP series isn't a bad. You don't get left behind. And I'm trying to think of a way to balance out missing races. But, if you do miss an evening, you actually miss two races. :(

Well, it wasn't that close. And I should've won. Or, more accurately, my car should've won. I was in the lead, but only by a couple seconds on about lap 26. I hit the tire wall on the inside of turn 1 and completely totaled my car. That was pain.

Again, I can't keep from hitting the walls. I'm such a loser.

This season is over. It puttered out. And that attrition really hurt the drivers that were left.

On to next season.

There...that's pretty much all you needed, if you're going to keep on with that kind of stuff :ouch:

I've gotten much better (I was able to cleanly pass people, and I had some very solid laps, hitting apexes and such). But the whole reason my car was so crazy fast is because I blew a solid second place in the first race of the season by putting myself into a wall very late in the race.

:(

Creating a discussion topic for the Wednesday series, will post a link shortly.
