Well it doesn't work with some things. I have noticed some bugs that when you close iTunes it comes back again, and again, and again, it just opens automatically.

Also, I tried to plug in a USB stick recently and my PC totally froze, nothing worked anymore, the keyboard didn't respond with a light when pressing caps lock and stuff anymore, wich is my way of checking if I can still do something about it.

That could be dependent on what theme you used. Some themes are coded very poorly, and in order to use certain features (aka. desktop displays of musical playlist or drive space), it has to constantly request data from that specific program or folder. This means that if you insert a flash drive and it's consistantly displaying info. on existing drives, the shell will lock up in the process of adding one. Some themes won't do that, but a bunch do. Same goes for the iTunes. If you install iTunes and the theme has a plugin for it, iTunes usually needs to be running in order for that plugin to function properly, so that specific plugin is restarting iTunes automatically.

hey burnout, u should take ur background into photoshop and pixel stretch the right end all the way across, that might look awesome :D
Ja, it does. I've found, however, that with two monitors, one usually has stuff open, so you can't see what's behind it anyways.👍

EDIT:
The laptop.

Hey, burnout, does that background come in a 1440x900 or greater resolution? :D

Macs are so pretty.

A friend of mine just got one of the new laptops with the 2Ghz Core Duos (2GB RAM, X1600XT, etc), I really dig it.

Here's the 'paper.
Thanks. I got the new Intel laptop, but I couldn't afford any upgrades :( I have the base 1.83Ghz, 512MB, 80GB, X1600XT 128MB model. It's an awesome machine, despite it's few shortcomings/annoyances. I've had it for less than a week, and it's my first Mac, but I think I'm falling in love with OSX! :embarrassed:

He's certainly in love with it.

While he was showing me his laptop, I was really enjoying watching it. Everything is so smooth and animated, but the animations didn't really slow anything down.

Honestly, the thing is, I'm not sure how much more useful a Mac would be over a PC when it comes down to functionality. Not saying Windows is better, but I don't think either is really better in that respect, when it comes down to it. Of course, hardware wise they're the same now (except that Macs are prettier), and you can install Windows on them pretty easily now, which is cool. Anyways, I would say that the Mac OS is better for certain things, and vice versa with Windows, but for daily stuff, I would probably choose the Mac OS (prettier). 👍

But anyways, back on topic:

Now that I have experience with both OS's, the only reason I would go back to Windows is because of game and program support. The way OSX is set up is so much better and cleaner. I love how applications aren't executable files, they're folders, with everything needed for operation contained within. It's rally an awsome way to stay organized. 👍

I want to play with a Mac so badly...

I don't have a Mac, but I've had OSX since Sunday.
EDIT: At the work place:
ahhh.... i forgot that you can get OSX on windows hardware now...

Correctomundo.

You can get pretty much exactly what's in the new Intel Macs from other venders, too.

The hardware is the same now. I will say, however, that Apple does an awesome job with the packaging. 👍
