Heh, Z beats us all. What type of monitor are you using Z?

Sony CPD-E540 21" on an ATI Raedon 9600. Comes in handy when pulling photos from the camera (which are still too big for it at full resolution 3504x2336), but that is its primary use. Got the PS2 for gaming . . . not the PC. :)

Yes. And 2048x1536 totally reduces to 1280x960.

But I digress. That is a killer of a resolution, and I bet you have to sit pertty far from the screen! Nice wallpaper, too. Did you take that picture?

I don't sit too far away (~2.5 ft or so), but it's not a strain on the eyes to have everything so small. On the plus side, nobody can walk by in my room and see what I've got going on without getting up close. Thanks for the comments on the wallpaper. It is not my own capture, just something I found in a desktop thread on another forum. Here is the original (1600x1200), if anyone is interested:

Well it wasn't gonna take me long to find a new one lol, had the above ACZ one for quite sometime, and as things change with my phases and crazes so does my computer.

I'll have this one for a little while.

Kicking it up old fashion-like.

Best handheld ever, bar none.

Nomad!? I had a regular Genesis, which was equally badass, but i never knew of wny "Nomad". It looks smaller and the area around the d-pad is a little funny. Though it was a great handheld, it's definitely not desktop material.

Can you tell me where you got that visual style? It's pretty tight. And maybe that wallpaper... and how to get the taskbar the the top... and how to get no icons on desktop... omg, I love your desktop.

I just went to DeviantArt for the visual style. I was looking for a black one, so I went to the visual styles section and typed in "black" in the search.
I got the wallpaper from fast-autos.net. To get the taskbar at the top you have to unlock it first, by right clicking and unchecking "lock the taskbar", then just hold down on your taskbar with your left mouse button and move it and finally, to remove the icons I right clicked, went to "arange icons by" and unchecked the "show desktop icons" button. :)

Sweet wallpaper there 👍

Speedy: Am I correct if I say that plane's a F-18A Hornet? I've had a model of that plane once :)

Beautiful color scheme on it as well 👍

Dude why do you keep critiquing peoples desktops? This thread is to show off your current desktop configuration, not to ask peoples opinions on if their wallpaper is "desktop material" or not.

Did you not get the PM?

Precisely, dougiemeats. Thank you. Yes, I give people advise on making their desktop a better thing to look at and a better place to live. You wouldn't believe how many people in this world--especially on GTP--have terrible taste in visual media in general and pictures in particular.

Don't fret, everything will look better tomorrow.TM

MachOne, curious as to how you got your task bar like that? Desktop X or a similar program? Wanting to try a similar thing that matches my background somewhat better then silver and green.
