Reached Level 40 on 11-23-2011!!!! Still got the 24hr races left to do then A and B spec races are done!!!!!!

Juts reached level 40 after one year of legit racing. Also expected fireworks, a band playing 10 prize cars and some girl handing me flowers but nada...
What i wanna know is if the rumour is true, that when reaching level 40 you unlock the complete damage level as first said when the game came out?
Is there some truth in that or am i hallucinating? well can always go and crash my cars to see for myself but i just cant do that to my babies on purpose!
What are the real benefits of being in the level 40 club? Are there any?

Nothing really special happens. It's a bit anticlimactic, even. Although one real benefit is that you no longer have to put in time doing grind races just to level up!

Just made level 40 after 13 months with no glitching and covering just over 79000 miles. Was a bit of a anti climax. Just need to finish the bigger endurance races and am going to try and gold everything. I'm also waiting for my last car to turn up at UCD, it's the Nardo concept.

Just reached level 40 the other day, after a year and just over 40,000 miles(with enough B-Spec to get to level 30, wish I could see them separately) and who knows how many miles online. 710 cars. PS3 died knocking me from almost level 39 back to low level 37 after restoring my backup.
Last 2 events to get there: won Dream Car Championship with F430 Scuderia and no HUD. Was pretty tough for me even without the stupid XJR-9 that shouldn't be in the race. Then Nürb 4 hour to hit 40, I finally beat the R8 in my "Continental Tire Challenge Spec" 2010 Camaro. Too many mistakes mid-race meant two great stints to finish, passing the R8 just before Galgenkopf on the last lap, with both of our tires completely gone. Margin of victory under 10 seconds(I could see him pull into the pits behind me), even though the game decided to pretend I won by 2 laps.
2 each individual FGT and Dream Car races left, plus 6 enduros and some golds in Special Events.

oh cool, didn't know about this club. Just in time too, as I just reached level 40 today! 
I very rarely play online (seriously, like twice a month with others from my own forum), been keeping my bonus up to 200% ever since the spec 2.00 update and it hasn't drop ever since!
Done Le Mans 24h, Tsukuba and Nurburgring 4h, after that the 200% bonus along with the new seasonal events granted me level 40 today. 👍

Just hit 40 on the B-Spec thanks to some nice Seasonals. 
I never used any glitches (don't even know what those are).
I still have a few 24 hour races to do. And I am really bad at the license tests.

Got level 40 A-spec this week-end thanks to latest seasonal, and got b-spec lvl 40 this morning after my Bob completed another 9 hrs Tsukuba.

Just got lvl 40 by getting silver at the Nurb during the Vettel Challenge !
Only 2 gold at Vettel and the two 24h races and I'm platinum !
