There is Pirelli tire branding available, it even is the PZERO branding. However, it doesn't feature the stripes they are using since 2012. It's basically the "Touring Car" branding, or the 2011 F1 branding.

I guess that if it's gonna be the W08, it'll just have the standard tire branding. It's either going to be removed if you want to create a livery (like on the Cayman GT4 for instance) or you can keep it. For example, the in game Michelin branding has the logo twice. However, most GT cars in the game featuring Michelin tires from the get go only have the logo once applied to the tire.

My feeling is hes being serious and completely non-fake when he says stuff like this. Makes it a little cringy but I can look past it.

I'm looking forward to the "merc" or whatever they brand it as. Maybe its a #blessed mobile with the driver dressed as the pope. perfect.

I like that he is creating news for me to follow as big F1 fan. And he is indeed a winner and a great driver.

But I don't like the overdramatic quotes and behaviour. It might be sincere from his side. Maybe cringy is the better word.

I’d rather him be open and honest with who he is and how he feels than be a caged up PR machine.

I don't know exactly how it works but I think only they can actually do F1 racing between multiple modern cars or something. I don't know how it works.

God forbid someone doesn't fit your cookie cutter mold of what an F1 driver should be...He is one of the most successful F1 drivers in history and is still going strong. Please explain to me how going from Senna to Hamilton is "sad". I would love to hear it. I am a big Redbull fan and I still do not understand all the hate that is directed towards Lewis Hamilton. He's an amazing driver and does a lot to promote F1 to people who have never watched it before. I see nothing wrong with him.

He gets paid to do magazine shoots. He is arguably the best there is right now, he deserves the limelight. I’m no “fanboy” I’m just stating facts. I just really don’t get all the hate.

I was hoping for this to be an original Formula 1-style car, similar to how the old FGT was similar to the F1 cars of the time but actually was very different.

Still, even though it's the W08 (or an identical car with a different name), if we can create liveries for it I might finally buy GTS. Also I'm hoping it either has the shark fin (not the full sail), or the launch-spec engine cover without the T-wing.

Oh, and you guys are seriously arguing about Hamilton? If you like him, cool. If you don't, well, Bottas drove that car too. And there's a pretty good chance you won't have to drive car #44, either by having Bottas' number available (as it was with the F2007 and F10 back in the day), or by being able to change the livery entirely or maybe it will have a generic/no livery by default so stop it.

It'll be interesting to see if the car can be used in the livery editor and/or if there's limited options of use. Due to the nature of F1 I could imagine Mercedes not wanting other teams to be displayed on their car, and possibly even alternative sponsors could be blocked. Depending on how much of the license is through F1 management itself (don’t know what the name of the body is), it could block tire sponsoring to be anything other than pirelli.

Also, price will be interesting. Last time we had a modern F1 car was GT5, and those Ferrari’s were 10 and 12.5 mil. The FGT and Senna’s Lotus were 2 and (as I recall) ~3 mil, so I’m not sure where it’s price may fall, PD certainly isn’t afraid of throwing in 20 mil cars.
