God forbid someone doesn't fit your cookie cutter mold of what an F1 driver should be...He is one of the most successful F1 drivers in history and is still going strong. Please explain to me how going from Senna to Hamilton is "sad". I would love to hear it. I am a big Redbull fan and I still do not understand all the hate that is directed towards Lewis Hamilton. He's an amazing driver and does a lot to promote F1 to people who have never watched it before. I see nothing wrong with him.

From what I read in some group on facebook it cause he starting from Mclaren never in smaller team and he too much whinny

I very much respect him as a driver but everything about his personality and the way he acts just annoys me. Quotes like "Love conquers all" when winning a race is just too much. It feels fake to me.

Well, long ago I voted "do not want F1 in the game" in a thread with a poll.
Lewis, well, not a big fan of him.
Mercedes, not a big fan.

That said, I am a fan of F1.
And, it's hard to argue that Lewis is one of the best races to compete in F1, and Mercedes one of the best constructors.

So...
I'm actually really excited about this.
Still favour Alonso and Ricciardo and Ferrari... but Since we are not getting the Ferrari, the Merc would be my choice #2, and Lewis will not be driving it, I will be...
I mean, would anyone rather have the Williams, McLaren or Toro Rossa from recent seasons?
Instead we get "the car to beat" on any track, on any weekend.

On the topic of the car, I’d rather have the Ferrari because it was more daring with its aero design toward the end IIRC. By the W08 is no worse choice, and I expected it because of the whole LH deal with PD.

For me the only question that counts, would it be able to take it to the livery-editor ?!
I can imagine Mercedes/Petronas won't see it changing into a Ferrari or Renault F1 car. It would be a license kind of thing I guess to give us free access to make it a better looking car

I think it's likely that the car will be liveried to be the same as this years. Mercedes have put out demo cars based on last years with this years livery, due to sponsorship. But also doing this would give the cars the driver numbers in the red and blue.

Since Kaz said that it takes 6 months to design a new car, I definitely think it won't have this year's livery.
But either way there will be this livery replica.
(remember the most liked one is the worst, while the version with the less likes is the best replica).

why would how long it takes to model and design affect the livery it runs? Both liveries are very similar, I'd be surprised if we see a BOSS decal on it after a Tommy one

Hamilton is a great ambassador so far, his lap time and the youtu.be video was great stuff.

I hope they add another lap from him in this car on a track with strict track limits.

My feeling is hes being serious and completely non-fake when he says stuff like this. Makes it a little cringy but I can look past it.

I'm looking forward to the "merc" or whatever they brand it as. Maybe its a #blessed mobile with the driver dressed as the pope. perfect.
