LG Oled TV for Gran Turismo 7

Black Friday is approaching and I do consider to buy a new TV.
I'm leaning towards an LG C Series 77 inch model.
Question to those out here using an Oled.
Is it worth the Money?
I'm currently playing on a 75 inch sony x900h.
I hope some of you might take their time to share your thoughts.

I bought LG's C1 in 2021 and so far it has been the best TV I've ever had (or remember having). I've had no burn-in issues and is good for both gaming (Xbox Series X) and streaming/movie watching, and the newer ones are brighter and have more advanced features, so I think you will be OK with that purchase.

Pay attention to the TV specs, regarding 4k and capacities of displaying 120 frames per second, at least.

Other than those specs to keep in mind when getting a new TV now, I have a LG C1 from 2021 like @Nacho Libre and it is very good (but I think it is limited to 4K@100Hz)

Is it worth the Money?

For gt7 alone? No, a "normal" led tv would be enough.
If you watch a lot of movies, especially with hdr (dolby vision or hdr10+) then yes

I hope some of you might take their time to share your thoughts.

Look for features like:

• ALLM (automatic low latency mode, disables a lot of picture processing in the tv)
• VRR (variable refresh rate, tv adapts the framerate to reduce/eliminate tearing)

For limited space/location: "good" integrated speakers & bluetooth/headphones support

I've had no burn-in issues

After putting the tv into standby it will run a "pixel refresh" program after like 10minutes. It's important to not remove the power in that time!

The HDMI 2.1 ports will carry a 4K/120 Hz signal and the C1 had 4 of those (one being the ARC port). The current C4 models will support 4K@120 Hz for both the PS5 (with VRR) and the Series X. They also have a low latency mode.

Is it worth the Money?

I currently use TCL Roku TVs in my house and they work just fine for gaming. My 55 inch was like $400? And it wasn't even on sale lol.

About a month ago i bought the LG G4 65 inch. Just incredible. My PS5Pro is now hooked up on that tv and it's just beautiful.
Previously i always had Samsung tv's which are also very good. When i bought the G4 i did my research and i doubted between the G4 and the Samsung S95. So i made the decision this time to buy the tv in a shop rather than order it online. So i could see both tv's perform in real life before ordering one. When i got in to the shop and i saw both tv's my mind was made up instantly. By far the G4 for me.

The main difference between a LG G4 and C4 is the processor. The G4 has the newest one where the C4 has the A9 processor. This is mainly noticable in the OS and the G4 has a little bit higher clarity than the C4. As far as HDMI output, both have 4 slots HDMI 2.1 with a 144hz output. Important to play in 120hz.

The other big difference of course is the price and also: The G4 is only available to hang on the wall, while the C4 you get a stand included.

I have a 77" C3 and it is an absolutely fantastic TV. It can be a bit reflective and I have it in a light controlled environment so if you have a lot of windows and bright light it may not be the best solution but for a home theater/gaming den it is a good choice.

Now that said, i don't use it for GT7 as i have a secondary smaller TV (a 10 year old 40" LCD) for my rig which is much lower quality but I'm in VR anyway, but when I was in 2D, honestly it was still good so you don't NEED an OLED for GT7 but if you are in the market for a new TV, the C3 is good.

I was just to a nearby electronic wholesaler and pulled the trigger on the LG 77" C43 LA.
Shot it for 1999€.
Wife approved as she went with me 😁

So Monday it will be delivered...my early Christmas Gift 😀
Wife got her new Kitchen a few days ago, so this was my only chance... It was now or never 😅

Just bought this yesterday. Was $359CAD. Any bugs or bits and pieces that bother to you to be aware of?
