I think the only cars which are worth resetting the ticket 1000 over and over again are the cars you can't get from any other ticket and which are not prize cars either. I also think those cars are the rarest cars if you have them with 0 miles/km and 0 changes, but that is just my personal opinion. However some of those cars are or were already available with 0 miles/km and 0 changes at the OCD. Here is a list:

Honda INTEGRA TYPE R Touring Car
Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car
Honda S2000 LM Race Car
Mazda Atenza Touring Car
Mazda Mazda6 Touring Car
Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car
Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car
Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car
Nissan 350Z Concept LM Race Car
Subaru IMPREZA Super Touring Car
Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car

First of all, I would like to thank you so much for the OP; I can only imagine how much work you put into this and I constantly refer back to it when trying to fill my garage.

As for the post I quoted above, I was actually relieved that you posted this list, because I was compiling a list myself and you confirmed all my findings. Such a bummer that the only way to get these by using tickets is through the Ticket 1000, especially since the only ones that can be traded are the Hondas, Mazda Atenza Touring Car, Mazda Mazda6 Touring Car, and Subaru IMPREZA Super Touring Car.

Finally, just curious about a possible addition to the list of cars you can't get from a ticket: the HPA Motorsports Stage II R32. I know that it is a prize car, but it is a standard car that doesn't have a year and I'm not sure of it's level. Either way, I think that it would be valuable to add the list of standard cars that cannot be obtained through tickets (other than the Ticket 1000). This may be an alternative to attempting to explain all the cars that can be obtained with that ticket.

Just some thoughts. Thanks again 👍 👍

I also thought this list could be helpful especially for collectors, but the only reply I received at that time was not very positive, lol. So I decided to forget about the whole thing.

Has anybody ever got a Holden Commodore from a ticket?
I never have, not from the 1000's of 1000 or 2004 tickets i've used/cycled through for days to find one.
I've got every other car in the game from tickets, but not a Holden Commodore.

holy crap i just got one from a 1000 ticket. i guess every car in the game is available from a 1000 ticket, except x2010's of course.

Well that is a major bummer. I can't imagine why anyone would not want this information. Oh well, thanks again for all the work you put into this list, it is truly amazing.

On another note, I've noticed that some posters have real problems with using their posts/lists offline. I was hoping to copy your OP and put in in a word file so that I can reference it offline. I won't share it or claim it as my own, it is strictly for personal use. I know that I could just do it and not say anything, but out of respect for you and all the work you put into this list, I thought I would ask anyway.

Thanks again! 👍

Of course you can copy the list and put it in a word file. I always got a printed version of the list next to my PS3. That's is why I posted it. It would only make me angry if someone would post the list on a different website and claims that he created the list. Apart from that you can do with the list whatever you want ^^Though I really appreciate that you asked before you use the list.

Yep, I added them to the list. Btw you can get the 2011 Nascars also from the lv 21 ticket. Thanks for letting me know.

I wonder if there is a 2011 b-day ticket available now?

Btw the Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car is the only car from that list which was never sold with 0/0/0 at the OCD as far as I know. You can only get it from a ticket 1000 and you can't trade it either hence it's the rarest car of all cars imo

It was my first "GT5" birthday yesterday and all I got is a Honda CITY Turbo II '83... I was so sad... I thought the game will be nice and give me something interesting lol. Is there a way to cheat and re-spawn the birthday tickets?

Sorry about the nooby question, but my b'day is coming up and I'll get a '72 ticket, which seems to be the ****test of all. A Fiat 500 or Step van ! WOW !! I haven't cheated on this game yet, but looking like I will have to, to get the cars I need to compete in the TT's. I've been checking the UCD for so long, but that R390 Road Car just won't come up. How do I change by DOB ??? and use the glitch......Cheers

Edit : Unbelievable, have been checking the UCD for months and just as I post this, the R390 Road Car pops up....Hooray. Now I just need a GSXR, so I can compete in the latest TT

First of all, before using a B'day ticket, all you have to do is make a copy of your game save, and then if the car isn't the one you want, restore your game save and try again. Keep doing this until you get the car you want from that pool of B'day cars.

Read the next response for two other solutions...

You can't. What you can do is create another PSN account with today's date and the year of your choice (if it's 2011-1994 you'll need to make it a sub account). Then simply log into GT5 and you'll get that year's B'day card. Then simply gift it to your normal account.

That, or find someone with the B'day card you want and trade for it.

I don't think it's possible to create sub accounts at the moment. The site is under maintenance for quite a while already. I wanted to create a sub account to check if there is a 2011 ticket now, but I can't.

You can always create sub accounts, but not with that link.
As shown, you can create sub accounts with your PS3... but temporarily this option is disabled for anyone under the age of 13.

However you can sign up for PSN accounts and create sub accounts online with a PC using Sony's Qriocity's site, and while I have not done it myself. A friend of mine made a sub account for a 2009 ticket.

I tried all that already. It won't work either. When you create a sub account you get the above link to verify the sub account, but you can't do that because the site is under maintenance.

In other words:
Thank you for your interest in creating a PlayStation(R)Network sub account. To complete the registration, please click the link and enter the code provided below.

I've been a subscriber to this thread for quite awhile but don't recall reading about this or seeing it in another thread on here...The level 24 ticket produces the Formula cars but I've been unable to get the silver & black FGT from it even though I've opened and reloaded my save data for over 5 hours! I've had every other car come up multiple times but not the silver & black one. My question is: Can anyone confirm that they have opened a lvl24 ticket and got the silver & black FGT?

Ps. Nor has it appeared in my UCD or Online dealership and I've had the game since day one.

I'm willing to tell you (in a few days or weeks maybe) since I want that FGT as well and I want it to be 0/0 so, obviously, I'm planning to get it with the Level 24 ticket. I'm not going to try this immediately though, that's why you shouldn't expect an answer in the next few days or so. :)

I received all colors of the FGT from the lv 24 ticket already incl. silver & black.

Thanx for your reply. Guess I'll have to keep on loading and reloading, just sux that after 10,500+ game days and over 230,000 miles its the only car that has eluded me.

Ps. Great thread and I appreciate the work you've put into it!

The funny thing is that the silver & black one was also the last one I was searching for and it also took me quite a while until I finally got one from the lv. 24 ticket. I received every other color at least 5 times before I got the silver & black one. It seems that some cars / colors are rarer than others but it could also be a coincidence.

Great list and all....but I have one question. How the bloody hell do you get all these tickets? The only ones I get are for winning the A-spec and B-spec races...Never had a birthday ticket, never had a 'Ticket 1000' and as for all the level tickets, I've never gotten them either....:grumpy:

As I said firstly, great list :)

You get a 1000 ticket if you get 1000 wins or have driven 2000 miles, if I'm not mistaken. I could be wrong though, there was a thread it that eventually confirmed what exactly triggered that ticket.

You receive a level ticket for completing all races in a certain class; Beginner, Amateur, Professional, Extreme, Endurance and there's one online event where you can win level tickets (21, 22, 23).

You get a birthday ticket when you sign into GT5 on your birthday (the birthday you gave to your PSN account, which is most likely your own birthday). You'll receive a ticket of the year you were born.

And you can always trade tickets with other players in the Marketplace. That's most likely how most of us get those.

Thanks for the info. It's appreciated! What online event do you get the level ticket? 👍
It's the "Gran Turismo: Expert Challenge Race" event which is around halfway the list with all the online events.

It's not that easy though, I managed to gold the first event that gives you a level 21 ticket, didn't manage to gold the other two events.

I was born in 88 and just recently had my birthday, I got on and used my ticket and waited in anticipation expecting some piece of junk from the 80's  Instead I got the group C Jag!! :D

Eureka!!! Finally got it from lvl24 ticket! Haven't tried since before my 1st post about this car. Took me 6 reloads this time and it was 2nd FGT that appeared. I'm leaning towards the belief that this may be one of the more difficult cars to get in game.

I've just now realised that I've never recieved a birthday ticket :(

Do I need to do something special? I thought it was mandatory PSN ID stuff. Or do I need to log on to GT actually ON my birthday?

Cheers

Or do I need to log on to GT actually ON my birthday?
Yes, this :guilty:

I just now realised I never logged into GT5 on my birthday either, while knowing you get a ticket when you log on (it was three months ago, but still pretty funny I realise that just now).
