Agree 100% it will be very cool to have possibility to create our personal custom livery!

I'm from the EURO zone and to me is very important to have a livery editor similar to Forza. :D:tup:

I can't believe this.. What's so important about it!?

Just one thing in mind i think it will open up another Aspect In the GT series. I dont see livery hurting gt at all, but improving it. I remember Playing Forza and sending my car to a top artist and paying alot for it. It would take a couple of days before i got my car back but when i got it back it was a great feeling, just as if you got your real car back from the paint shop. To see how some of the artist create amazing designs is cool. Im not a huge fan of putting crazy design on my car for i am a person who loves clean cars, but sometimes i wll put certain JDM design on my car EX SPOON decals Nismo decal etc

I couldn't vote for any of the options as I didn't find an option that completely suited what I agree with.

I don't care if there are no livery editors (Most games with livery editors I paint my car a single colour and leave it at that). I also am not bothered if there is a "race modification" I always preferred the look of "street" cars.

This.
But its not like i would be dissappointed when its not in.

Every custom option is great, and if you dont want to use it, dont use it, simple as that.

+1 like i said before i cant take pictures for nothing and i rarely would use Photo mode, however im not going to say it should not be in GT5 there is many people who love to take Pictures. Just because i dont use photo mode dosent give me the right to say Photomode is a waste and shouldnt be in the game. If it can Improve GT and the fan base im all for it.

the reason i think this is so important is becasue when online i want to have my own, tuned, racing and rally cars with my own racing colour scheme.

same, i want my cars to represent my colour scheme..

Not only that what about the people who have custome tunning shops In GTP, wouldnt you think they would like to make a design of their shop name so they could put it on their car or other cars they tuned. Just imagine seeing certain street cars while racing with Lion's Den logo on them that would be cool.

Can't vote.

I would like a livery editor but it's not 'very important', where that option?

I'd love a livery editor in GT5, I had a go with the Forza 2 editor and it was pretty good, and given that it's another part of the game PD or Sony could release (paid) DLC for and will add a lot to the game without taking much away (though the possibility of people making offensive liveries is a problem), I'd be surprised if it didn't make it in the game.

Also if KY was telling the truth (and we all know not everything he says he'll do ends up being done) and racing clubs do get included in the game, like a sort of clan system, liveries will be very important to that system I think.

Basically, I want this M3 CSL in GT5:

-> I voted for #7, same as the damage feature that almost everyone has been grunting about. I really don't care about custom livery/race modification/paintshop feature in GT5. Sure it will significantly boost individuality for each user, but there are other things that are more important features to consider.

-> I also miss whenever you race modify a car back in GT1/2 the car would get this symbol:

[R]Honda Civic [EK9] Type-R '98

^ It may be a great idea for non-race cars too:

[T] = Tuned

[T]Mitsubishi L200 Strada 4x4 '98

:)

Meh, tuning is so overrated. No one does it, hardly anyone understands it. GT5 should only have street cars and be done with it.

Does this sound familiar when discussing a certain other feature? ;)

Obviously it matters a great deal to me. As stated above, I want to create my own online identity(ies), and race car drivers spend quite a bit creating a custom livery which identifies them with their fans. If a good livery editor isn't in GT5, I'll be buying Forza 3. I won't be voting because I'd like to see how this falls in the community.

Why in the poll does it have the options " I am in the Euro Zone"? Why would it matter?[sarcasm] As for the Livery, I can't wait till someone puts a Anime Character on their car just like Forza series.Just to see it get banned the next hour or so.[/sarcasm]

I'd like a livery editor, personally.

It might be even cooler if it worked like NASCAR 09's paint booth, which lets you import your own cars that you made in Photoshop (or a similar program) into the game.

From,
Chris.

I loved the editor in Forza 2, and I spent more time painting the cars than driving them. For me, the ultimate thing is to remake existing liveries on different cars, and I can spend weeks to get things to my liking.
Add to this a racecar mod, and I would a really happy camper!
Same goes for tuning aswell, so please PD, make it a bit more in-depth!

Very important to me. It would add an awesome dimension to our tuning garages here on GTP, and I just want to make my own race cars.

I agree with you on that!! Like i said before, back in my Forza2 days there where Paiting shops for noobs like myself when it came to art, It was pretty cool how the procces went it was kinda like real life. You would actually Send your car to the shop, and depending how busy they where you would get your car in a day or two. They charge you accordingly and duplicate anything you wanted on your car.

It was pretty cool, and if you think about it you could compare the tunning shops that we have now in GTP. Im not saying GTP tunning settings are the best, but they could have just gave us preset tunes for everycar. For them to give us the ability to tune cars from a basic standard opened up other doors in the GT community. I am kinda of a new member to this GREAT Site, so when i browse around the forums and see there are actually people who cope with the standard tunning options and make tunning garages for people who need help tunning cars is wonderful IMO. Im saying adding a livery will add another positive dimension to GT series.I strongly believe this will have a postive affect 👍

Somehow, I don't believe that they will put a Livery Editor because it isn't GT. Back in GT/2 where the racing modifications which was nice and most likely they will bring that back. But somehow, they will most likely get all those licensing to put brand names as stickers and that would take a long time. It would be nice only if it doesn't change the aspect of GT itself. Otherwise, its just going to be another Forza. Though I loved it when I remade the MCR GTR on Forza 2. ( I wouldn't know if I actually recreated it 100% down to the tuning settings but I am working on that.)

I can see the advantage of having this option, but GT is about the quality of mechanical and graphic reprodution.
If GT was to have the option of custom liveries, I would use it.The poll doesn't have an option for my choice.
I think I would create a scheme and have it on all my online cars, then others would recognise my cars in an instant. Then have all my garage with personalized custom liveries, but if we don't get the editor, I won't lose any respect for GT, as I have never expected it

+1 im just saying if they did include it, it would be a good asset to the GT series

I said this very same thing several times here. In fact, I'm about to go grab my 360 back from my bro, just because this discussion is making me want to create a few more cars. I'll be posting images when they become available.

And...damn it, Microsoft is going to force me to update the 360 OS to include those idiotic Mii ripoffs. ZOMG... NOOOO!!! :indiff:

You also have to pay to download demos and stuff to, as well as you monthly subscription. Hence why the 360 is used as a DVD player in my little boys room. Might flog it actualy. anyone interested in the Limited edition version of FORZA 2 lol.
