My Camaro LM Race Car has 606hp/628pp. That's with no turbo.

Edit: The Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car is close to spec also.

526hp/1180kg/607pp without oil change
552hp/1180kg/615pp with

Not sure how it drives, though.

Well, I'm out for this event, and I can't gift my cars, so.... Not going to run in a league that attacks people on a personal level for there opinions. i tried to let it go, but **** It, I don't need this. Everyone is a tough guy when they sit behind a keyboard and a Screen name.

Never has there been such a juxtaposition of delicious irony. And seriously, what does that have to do with this thread?

Never have I seen any bad mouthing in these two pages or this un named league that hasn't raced yet

I'll probably be there. I have a flight early on Sat that might make me decide sleep is better than racing but I'll probably talk myself into racing instead of sleeping. Looks like it will be fun.

I like where your priorities are. Sleep on the plane (I know that's not possible).

Good point. I'll be there if I don't throw my dfgt out the window before then. :)

BTW.. I also have the S Audi R8 LMS Race Car ’09...
is this one out of spec? Or why did it get left out?

I guess I missed that one. It does in fact qualify, so I'll add it to the list.

I think we should keep it to RWD cars.... maybe?

I thought we were just doing concept race cars anyway

The LMS in that Audi's name stands for Le Mans Series. The LM in the other cars stands for Limited

What about the Jag? And is your Camaro detuned maybe?

(check post #31 ^^)

Sorry, I did see that and I forgot to look at it. I'll have to test it to see how it compares to the others, but right now it falls just under the Camaro. Speaking of, my Camaro was detuned. I'm going to run some laps with it again to see how fast that makes it. It was noticeably off the pace of the other cars when I ran it de-tuned.

I don't think that the two MR cars will have an advantage, but I could be wrong. They seem to run similar lap times.

well Im just saying RWD cars. dont matter to me if theyre MR, theyre still RWD but isn't the Audi 4WD? and it has like 70(actually 30, thought it was 595) more HP although it is at least 140lbs/kgs heavier

and still I thought we were just doing concept race cars

I don't think that's right. Both refer to Le Mans racing, but the Audi is called LMS because it is homologated to run in either the American Le Mans Series or the European. The ALMS didn't start until 1999 (after some of these cars existed) and the ELMS started in 2004, so the Audi is just using a more modern nomenclature.

No, the Audi is MR. I never said that this was just concept cars. Neither the Camaro nor the RX-7 are concepts.

Ok, so I have something of a conundrum here. The Camaro is much faster than I thought. The Jag XJ220 is equally fast. Here's the question; should we try to equalize those through engine limiting or just throw them out for now?

Man this race will be awesome. It's a long shot in my making it but if I can, I will.

Can you engine limit or add ballast with Tuning Prohibited on?

You can limit the engine. For both the Camaro and the XJ220, 525HP brings them much closer in PP to the other cars. Any objections to this?

No, if they'll run similar times that's cool with me.

What about tire wear? Do they chew through them faster than the others?

I think the cars of similar weight will have similar tire wear. The R8 is heavy and should go through tires pretty quickly. I decided to limit the Camaro and JX220 to 515HP which puts them even closer to the rest of the field.

Sweet, gonna pick a car and do a little practice tonight 👍

A question of the time change as well; Would y'all rather do a full cycle or start during the day and end at night?

So if I start it at 9:00 and set the change to 12, that should do it, right?

PD's implementation of that made my head hurt trying to figure it out. Mind you I didn't spend a lot of time on it

I'll have a look tonight to see if I can make heads or tails out of it.

I vote for a full cycle
Hopefully it rains too =))

I think 60 does a full cycle

I think you can choose from 1-24.

I was trying to figure it out earlier and I found this thread. From what I can tell, the scale refers to the number of game hours in an actual hour. Therefore a setting of 12 should get us twelve hours of time passage in-game for every real hour. I think.
