I'll try to make this. I'm thinking about using the RX-7, since I enjoy both light cars and wankel engines.

I've got the orange/black, black/silver, and blue/red paint combos. Who is running what colors? I can keep it interesting by running a different color combo.

I don't think anyone has picked the RX-7 yet, so pick whichever you like. On the off chance that someone does pick the same color, it won't hurt to have the others ready. Also send a FR to SNAIL_Division2 so you have access to the lobby tomorrow.

I've done some further balancing on the XJ220 and Camaro. They're both limited to 475HP now. I also added the BMW M3 GTR Race Car to the list, but I think it will be slower than the rest.

I picked the RX-7 LM. Thats one of two of the cars I have so I'll go with that one.

I'll use the BMW and see how I fair :)

I think the Rx-7 will destroy the field. But no big deal.

Sorry, I thought you said RX8 for some reason... What color is yours?
 
I think I'm going to end up with either the Jag or the Audi unless I decide to spend hours going through 360 days of ucd. Are all the posted cars close on lap times?

Yeah, everything is running just over four minutes. Both the Jag and the Camaro were able to easily do under 4 without detuning.
 
I should be home in time for this tomorrow, I'll either use the Audi or Jaguar. I'm gonna try a few laps later tonight and see which one I like better. Sound like it's gonna be a fun race!

I just noticed this; does this mean no additional parts, or do I need to run the stock suspension/aero/LSD/brake settings?

You can change the brake settings, but nothing else.
 
After running a few laps I've decide that I'll be going with the Jaguar XJ220 LM. This should be interesting to see who comes out on top, though I'm thinking it will probably be one of the Mazdas.

Did you run in de-tuned, or full on? What kind of lap times did you get?
 
I'll be running the 350Z Concept LM Race Car.

Factory called me up from the Tuner Series II ;)
 
Well I somehow lucked onto the Rx8 but I'm still leaning towards the Jag. I'll have to decide last min tomorrow after some last min testing.

I was wondering about that. But still, theres just so much racing haha

One series Im in though got postponed because the person who is supposed to be running it is "MIA" sooo If I get appointed to run that series would anyone want to race in it? Its pretty cool series. Its spec. Its 2 races each night and the total of each race is about an hour and a half. Qualify for race 1 and then reverse grid for 2. No TCS, Active Steering, SRF, Driving Line, idk the other but only ABS is allowed. Sports tires no matter what car. Tune prohibited. Wear, on. Its a rolling staggered start(like NASCAR). Mechanical damage, light. Slipstream, weak. Races start at 7:30pm on Fridays. Penalties, off(incidents are subject to review and penalization towards the championship). Grip reduction, real.

You do need a team mate and you need a team name(team points) and colors for your team.

All we need are people to race and for me to start running it and I think I covered all major topics

I ran it detuned, as you had it listed in the first post. I was getting around 4:10, though I know I could probably knock a few seconds off. The back end likes to step out in 2nd gear, and I'm still working on my brake points. Once that's under control, I'll probably be down to around 4:05. Where is everyone else at?

Keep your eyes on the thread; I'm going to run some more laps in both the XJ and the Camaro to make sure they're even with the unlimited field.

That looks fun, but 7:30 on Friday is tough to get to...

When I ran them last night I found they were a little limited on top speed, but faster in the corners which pretty much evened out.

There doesn't seem to be too much between any of the cars in the list, they all seem pretty close 👍

I just want to make sure I haven't nerfed the XJ and Camaro too much.
