Laguna Seca incident report.

There were 2 comings together between Bob and Vee in Race 1 (laps 1 and 3), which were both deemed to be Bob at fault.

Although the incidents were undoubtedly unintentional, they were quite careless, so please take care when running close by other racers, especially as the next round is double points.

Although you waited after the incidents it still carries a penalty of 25 seconds (10 for the first and 15 for the second)

You guys are quick...granted I quit gt5 late last year and just picked up gt6 a week or two ago but I could only manage a 1 26 on daytona road and a 1 11 on laguna and both those were hot laps ...reg times a sec more...I'll keep running again the rest of this week, see if it comes back. Im running with all off...u guys get better times with tc on?

Well 1:11 would've been competitive in the Laguna race I think. If your speed is of a reasonable pace which it sounds it then driver spatial awareness is much more important.

Most run tc off but experiment with it as permitted to use in championship.

Will aim to sort test race for tues 4th Nov.

Okay thanks...i'll keep runnin, still sorting tunes and such too and those are not my fav tracks either. I just needed to see where i was sitting. Spatial awareness I'm good on, I would go off track before I run someone off intentionally. I ran a few series with some really fast dudes too and was always right there ...very close racing --710PP--...respectful of each other and such. Anyways...I'll keep driving rest of this week.

I don't know what it is with Mark but I seem to have a need to collect him in my mistakes. It clearly is not intentional. On lap one I stuck my nose in on a corner where he went a little wide and it looked to me that I could squeeze in on a tighter turn. I gave him no where to go and it was poor judgement on my part. On the second incident he braked much sooner than I did and I simply punted him off in a straight line into the dirt. That was not so much poor judgement but close racing in cars that move very fast. In both cases I caused the problem and deserve all the blame. On a different note I looked at the incident on the first lap when Mulligan spun and it is amazing how anyone, (I almost made it) especially Mike Doc and Mark got through the carnage.

Really gutted guys but I'm going to miss the next 2 races i think. Missing the double points race is really going to put me out of the challenge for the series. Good luck to all on Sunday and i'll be back as soon as my internet is back and running.

No worries Bob, the Mazda and Audi seem determined to swap paint! There was smoke everywhere too in that 1st lap pileup!

Remember before the final race you can drop two of your worst scores (ie missed race night) so only be one night down. Hope internet is back up soon.

Make sure to check on here Mon 3rd Nov for details of next car selection.

I had a good look at the replay, there were lots of smoke and cars facing/moving at all directions, it was just good luck I think that I got through it. It was even better when Doc went into pit @ lap 8 or 9, all I needed to do was to save fuel and drive to the finish line :). Hopping for the same this Sunday ;)

Hi guys am coming back from Holidays how many laps tonight for spa ??? I haven't setup at all so I apologise by advance if am not in a good rythm. In my job as Steward I must to remind everybody to be gentlemen on the races....

Spa is an amazing track but turn one "la source" is a really difficult corner especially after the starting to not bump anybody.... Same for "l'eau rouge" (raidillon) where there is in fact only one line..... it's impossible to pass that corner two next remember that. When you can breath a bit one the straight driving you to "les combes" you must to think about the stream an break earliest you can for not make an accident on this corner too..... If every body follow those advices we can enjoy really good races...... Good luck every body

Moved into my new house and just found out my internet has been connected already, quickest connection ever on record! I will be there tonight for double points.

I left right after the race to try and catch the start of the F1 race. What a great track they raced on in Austin and wouldn't that be fun in GT6. My pit crew managed to completely screw up our second race. I could only go 8 laps before I ran out of fuel so the team manger setup a 3 stop strategy unfortunately he did not take into account the poor talent of the pit crew who after starting on medium tires accidentally put mediums on during the first pit stop. The manager then decided to cut the second stint short and change to soft tires. He then miscalculated the timing of the third stop and I ran out of fuel half way around the track and coasted for a full minute until I could limp back into the pits. I have decided to change cars for the next race and get a completely new crew.
