Thanks for the advice. I suspect you may be right about a heavy right foot. I’ll try that out tonight when I get home.Toyota GT86. Completely stock, don't need to change anything.
Go to Tsukuba, do the Time Trial that's in the rain. The GT86 in the wet is nice because it takes hardly any throttle at all to rotate the back of the car, hopefully it'll help you establish the link between your right foot and how that controls the back of the car.
Just lap around until you get a feel for it, it's entirely just a matter of practice.
If you're finding 4WD slideable, I'd take a rough guess that you're giving it way too much throttle in the RWD.
Depending on your wheel settings, the wheel will mostly do the countersteering for you, you actually need to not resist it too much once the back starts to go, but yes, coming cleanly out of a slide also takes some feel, have you not seen how many Mustang owners launch themselves into crowds doing exactly that?
I unplug the USB connections first. Power last. I've never noticed any static discharge.@GlockPants if the wheel definitely has a fault then it should also fail to work correctly on PC. I’m really not sure why it’s also being problematic on the PS4. Out of interest, what’s your disconnection steps when you disconnect the wheel from the console? Unplug USB, then power? Vice versa? Do you ever get any static electricity discharge from any part of your setup?
So I was looking at the wheel but without the pedals (currently sold-out) it appears to be pointless for a PS5/GT7 user as the only pedals that would work are the Pro pedals. Given that, the wheel is a bit out of my price range anyway but I am interested in the pedals. So I could potentially connect the pro pedals to my G29 with this adapter? What is the ETA on that and how much?If you're on console and therefore need to connect the shifter into the base, then we have a solution coming for that early next year (which will also enable you to connect the G-series pedals to the Pro Wheel or connect the Pro Pedals to a G-series wheel).
Tonight I found my Logitech Pro Wheel was feeling different all of a sudden. Checked the settings in ACC and they were back to the defaults all of a sudden instead of my preset from a week ago.@GlockPants thanks for confirming - just wanted to check.
@TheNormsk details will be available very soon.
Gain, Road effects and Steer lock settings were back at their defaults in ACC. Strange enough loading my preset didn’t seem to work either, I ended up deleting and created a new preset. We can’t affect in-game settings directly and certainly can’t actually change the values that you see in the options of the game. I’m wondering if the game saw the recent update and for some reason reset things to Kunos’ defaults? Which values had changed?
Mine works perfectly well, have not had any connection issues or anything of the sort.So has anyone got the G Pro setup and working like a dream for GT7? Just ordered one based on this video review but now feeling worried after reading some of the posts on here..
Yes stuttering is still there, I don’t think Kunos released an update yet. I am still on ACC version 1.8.21 which is the latest as far as I can tell…No, but Kunos were working on the RPM LEDs problem. Do you still get the stuttering issue when you pull away from being stationary or is that fixed too?
Finding my wheel settings changed all of a sudden made me really uncomfortable… but there probably is some logical explanation for why this happened.Yes, they haven't released an update yet then - I was wondering if they'd fast-tracked something. One thing to note is that if you've been in the control options at all (even if you don't change a thing) then that gets the RPM LEDs working, so that's likely to be what's happened here, given that you've been adjusting the settings.
The G HUB profile option is exactly as you say. Any game that's in the list in G HUB will automatically load the settings in that profile when a game starts. You can still adjust the settings of that profile using the OLED screen whilst in the game as well.
All settings in G HUB are contained in the settings.db file that's in your C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\LGHUB folder so that's the file to back up.
Yeah k could see that getting annoying even if you had everything written down and had to enter it in often. I had a tv that would constantly reset and I had to enter all my app passwords and wifi stuff back into it. Never wanted to throw a tv through the front window so bad. HahaFinding my wheel settings changed all of a sudden made me really uncomfortable… but there probably is some logical explanation for why this happened.
Could have been the G hub update or maybe I somehow saved the default settings to my wheel preset in ACC by accident? Or a combination of things… Everything seems to be sorted again, not 100% sure what happened exactly.
I wouldn’t want some automatic update to completely mess up the setup I spent finetuning for hours. So I am going to document all settings and versions, and make backups of all settings files just in case. I prefer to spend my time on track instead of in the settings
I'm hoping for a good shifter similar to TH8 and a good ol' round wheel for rally and drifting!Any word on additional wheels? A formula style wheel would be nice 😇
I have a slight rattle on my G Pro wheel when I start to turn left a righter but it’s only the first 10 degree of angle. After the 10 degree it’s gone. Anyone else here with that issue ? Cheers
With GT7 on PS5? Or on PC?
Any news on pro shifter and rims?@InThaHouse There are indeed. We mentioned an adapter to all of the influencers and press back when we launched the Pro Wheel and Pedals. This would enable the Driving Force Shifter and the G-series pedals to work on the Pro Wheel, but it also goes the other way: it will enable the Pro Pedals on the G-series wheels.
You’re going to hear solid details on this very, very soon. @nobuffalo That note is also for you 🙂
