Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel

Does anyone here use any cushion style shakers? I feel the visuals and the wheel are so immersive that it sometimes stands out how static my seat is. I have no dedicated rig to bolt things on to, so instead first looked into the Next level racing HF8 and then the U-shake6 which seems to be better but also quite a bit more expensive.

You have no clue how amazing shakers are.

Sounds like it.
Sounds like it’s been RMA’d so I guess Logitech will receive the wheel and mount it to something and find out. I was thinking the same thing or perhaps the wheel wasn’t bolted and clamped instead but I guess it’s bolted. I think sometimes that stuff is hard to capture in a video. When you’re in person you can usually decipher exactly where it’s coming from, especially if two people are present, one driving and one investigating.

I lower the feedback and I tighten bolts to the mount seems to help a little.

I’m going to be building a new rig soon just need the time. It’ll be solid, I’m adding bass shakers and I’ve got a seat out of a minivan that’s basically brand new to utilize. I’ve been brainstorming how I want to do it and I think I pretty much have it figured out. The G Pro is so strong, I’m set at 6 in GT7 and 8.0 in the wheel and my current rig it’ll send vibrations and rumbles down to my feet. And that’s with the rig sitting on the floor. My new one I’m going to isolate from the floor.

Nice what rig are you going to get? I also got the U6 shaker but I sent it back it was too distracting to drive with but don't let me discourage you from getting it just try if you like.

I’m buying metal and building one. I plan on running the dayton shakers pretty low. Just want to have subtle feedback all around. Gear shifts, tiny bit of road noise. collision impact and some curbs.

I would have to import one from the USA. Too bad i can't try it out first. Sitting on transducers doesn't sound so comfortable and i imagine the sensation would feel very local.

Hello, can someone tell me if GRID LEGENDS has TRUEFORCE on Ps5 and Xbox SX with the Logitech PRO Racing Wheel??

Thankss
You're not missing much tried it on PC it wasn't that great. The problem with true force it tries to be everything and it becomes so muddy.

You need to adjust the output of the game or the wheel. It should never appear to be “muddy” - I always recommend setting it so that it’s subtly giving you the cues that you want and not overwhelming the whole experience.

Legends does not support Trueforce though: only GRID (2019) does.

When did you receive your g pro wheel I haven’t got any response on the wheel shipping and it’s been a week
I ordered mine on the 4th. Shipped on the 7th after I opened a ticket with support. Just got it today!

Just finished setting up the U-shake6 and it's a great addition to the Pro wheel (mostly i will use it for AC on PC). Without it i felt a disparity between all the forces through the wheel and nothing through my seat.
I recommend it to anyone who does not have a dedicated rig or the time to figure out how to set up individual shakers+soundcard (or neighbours where the Buttkicker is too loud). It's a fantastic all in one package.
Kinda pricey but they undervalued the product on the customs form so i saved a good deal on taxes.

A race seat on wheels? How does that work?

How much was the u shake?
It pushes against the coffee table (which pushes against 2 heavy recliners). No issues there.

In total with fast UPS shipping and import taxes it was €500. Nothing is cheap at this level where we are. ;) but it does include transducers(5.1 surround configuration, meaning what happens at your front left tire, you will feel at the front left of your seat) in a comfy cushion and a sound card in a quality metal box.

Hey all.

FYI the new firmware update is available through the new version of G HUB. For PC users this should address the vibration issue that can begin after a period of using the wheel. For console users it will need the developer to update the version of the Trueforce SDK in their title as well.

What did this update for trueforce sdk? Are developers usually quick to do this (aka polyphony)

The main fix is in the filter, but there's aspects of that which also need addressing in the SDK. On PC the SDK can be updated separately from the game title so when we update it the games will just use the latest version of the SDK anyway. On console the SDK is integrated into the game title, therefore requiring the developer to update it if a new version is released.

I can't speak for an ETA on when Polyphony might integrate the new version, but they're historically one of the most responsive developers with this kind of thing.

Right on. Thanks @LOGI_Rich !

I'm off to dust off and charge up the laptop now. And then fiddle with some cables. 👍

Hmm, shame. Other than for GT7 (which I don't have, yet) I can't see any other current game doing that on PlayStation. I love their ease of use but consoles do have limitations when it comes to updates.

I do get the vibrations on non Trueforce games, will the filter tweaks help with that?

Should I upgrade if I only play GT7 or wait first for Polyphony to upgrade the game? Will the update break anything for me?

Send me a DM if you would be willing to test (free) community-based effects I was working on for GT7.
These use Simhub (Shakeit for basshakers) and not the SRS software but I am keen to have owners like yourself offer feedback on comparisons to the effects you get with the Us6.

Sorry no PS5 or an interest in GT7 here.
