I have had a response now, sadly it isn't the response I wanted. I wasn't asked if I wanted a replacement sent out (What I really wanted), or a refund, I just received an email to say I was getting a refund but in order to get the refund I had to register with a banking service called Wise, something I did not want to do but I had no choice apparently as Logitech are unable to refund to the debit card I used to make the purchase.
So I finally have my money back, when what I really wanted was the controller. Now I'll have to order one again and hope that it actually gets to me.
There are so many things that need to be changed to improve the purchasing and shipping process at Logitech, I find it really hard to believe that it is not possible to pick, pack and ship an order within a day or two, given that worldwide logistics are so good these days and I can order almost anything else, from anywhere, and get it delivered the next day or within a few days.
