Do you deliver support for most if not all wheels available on the market for the ps4? cause seeing how driveclub and project cars only support one brand of wheels?? I just can't believe a usb device aka steering wheel can't work on a ps4?? #thisis4theracers right ps4??

It requires a driver. This is well covered in another thread. Requesting lock or deletion.
It's not the drivers it's the security chip that Sony is requiring in all perhiperals for "security" purposes. None of the older wheels have this and so they aren't compatible. Whether this is a plot to make older peripherals obsolete is subject to debate, but at least we know at this point it's not on Logitech or Fanatec or Thrustmaster, it's on Sony.

Yes, you are right. But my point was that Logitech won't even try to build a driver until someone makes buying the chip worth their while.

You have a point TRL but i missed the question so figured this is the way to put it in the spotlight and as johnny mentioned so sharp, is it driver related or does that story about the security chip valid enough?? Cause to me it's a 900 degree wheel with usb that lacks driver support to function correctly on a ps4 which i feel is more than capable of doing so!!

Changed the title adding security chip to it, now it stands out as different question to me that is 👍

You can vote here to bring it to Sony's attention (it is already in the #1 spot).
already did even signed the petition,it's strange playing gt6 on a g27 and on ps4 it won't work come oct 8 when driveclub comes out??
They can't make me believe a common 900 degree wheel can't work on a ps4 ?? This i just realise, when you look at the time trial list online in gt6 you always see what time they set but you can never see what brand of wheel their using, always shows up as a 900 degree wheel with clutch and/or shifter, makes you wonder why label the wheels when the driver just sees them as wheels??

The question moving forward is whether or not the Logitech wheels will be able to work in GT.

Since they won't work with the PS4 like they can with the PS3, we may have to work them like we did with the PS2.

If (and that's a pretty blasted big if) PD will develop the Logitech wheels for GT, then we may be okay. I understand there is a way to do that, but I don't understand what it is (a "second layer" to the USB info?).

So, we have a faint chance of using legacy wheels in GT, but they won't have any functions outside of the specific programming for GT. Not a big surprise, just annoying that we don't know what's coming.
