What a legend! Absolutely love Mo, just ran his heart out the entire race, and still found more to sprint to the finish. If there is any athlete of ours that puts our football players' level of devotion to shame, it's him.

I completely agree!!đź‘Ť

Amazing stuff by Mo, I was shouting at my TV for the last few meters!

What was his wife pissed off about? She was pretty annoyed with something.

Canada won a bronze in the 4x100m! That was awesome though, Bolt just pulled away.

Err... I guess Canada got DQ'd... :(

That was incredible!!

What a way to finish the athletics!!

Bolt doing the mobot!!

SilverArrow
 My mum closed her eyes for the last 200m. Do the Mo-Bot!

I had my eyes closed too!

Great run from Mo, timed his sprint to perfection. Also, great run from Jamaica, smashing the works record. What can Bolt do next?

Well according to todays mirror, Bolt wants to try the long jump like Jesse Owens!!!

Well done to Luke Campbell!!!!!!đź‘Ť

This is brilliant!

Racewalking is actually kinda interesting. I'm not gonna watch 20km worth of it, but I stuck around for about 3.

This may be controversial but I think it's not a proper event really.
To be honest, I view them like I view the variety in swimming strokes. It's just a different way of racing, but not the fastest or any real benefit over running. Like in swimming you have breast, butterfly, back and freestyle.

Probably a repost but these are awesome little things

I can't believe I only noticed them the other day.
I saw them mentioned in an article but that's the first photo I've seen. Cool!

NBC Primetime coverage in America tonight has begun with a 30+ minute piece on the British people and the enduring bravery, spirit and courage displayed during he beginning of World War II.

Magnificently crafted, produced and presented, it is an absolute privilege to be watching this.

I thoroughly enjoy the British people and their culture, watch their football every week and even named a family pet after a British footballer, as well as thoroughly enjoy their food and their ales. One day hope to visit. I consider myself quite educated on the topic of WW II, and hope Americans are watching this instead of doing other things until the athletics are aired.

What an incredible generation of people...London was bombed more than SEVENTY consecutive nights before the USA was in the war and all of Europe had been conquered, yet the Brits kept their resolve with only the English Channel separating them from the Nazis. Unbelievable. I'm thrilled some of my ancestors served and helped rid Britain and the world of one of its darkest minds.

Well done NBC! (Tips cap and raises a glass to the East)

Never has so much been owed by so many to so few

I watched that as well, my favorite part was the Coventry bombing survivor going to Germany and meeting with those who lost their parents to the Allies, just as he lost his to the Luftwaffe. It just shows how devastating Hitler's ideas and actions were, even on those in his own area almost 75 years later.

He was brilliant. Brokaw held up the pic of his Mom and held it up and held it up until the poor man had tears well up, but he was still one of the highlights of the show for me. Would love to buy him a beer!

EVERY person in the shelter he was hiding in was killed except him and his Mom? Holy crap. *%#^&$? Nazis.

I think it was him and his brother, his mom passed soon after. The part that sucked was when Brokaw asked what everyone's reaction was, and he replied "They were dead." It was harrowing. I thought he didn't need to hold up the picture that long, I hope the poor guy had a warning.

Way to go Boudia!! Sucks for Daley only getting bronze..

What is on DeeDee Trotter's face? I can't tell if that glitter is to cover up a skin abnormality or just tacky..
