Wasn't racing. Strategy runsWhat's up with the odd PP no#s? where are the standard splits 500/550/575/600? Where did these no#s come from?512PP??????? That's a scary looking Tjger in your avatar, Tjger. P.S. That was me in that room with you @mckeag53 on Apricot Hill but, I left when I didn't see you racing anymore. Stock.
Sounds good Tjger. I'll be looking for my 475PP car tonight. Maybe we'll meet up later on line and swap ideas. Stock.Alright drivers. This is a 'race time' control update.
This week(March 20) we will run our casual night of racing.
PP levels will be starting with the first race; 475, 510, 540, 560, 580, 610, 680, and if time permits. Anything you bring will qualify.
You drivers will pick the tracks and no fighting is allowed. So pick wisely.
Now for the big news.
Our Main Event race scheduled for March 27 is confirmed, sealed, and a done deal.
After a long night of negotiations Apricot Hill Raceway and the gracious folks residing in Apricot Valley have asked us to race our Shelby GT 500s. The only stipulation is we keep our Mt Panorama numbers. It seems according to the town mayor our race at Mt. Panorama attracted more viewers than the F1 race at Melbourne. So 570 PP, 700 HP, and 1720 weight will be what our cars will be tech inspected for.
Tire wear will be NORMAL again.
All other regulations will be the same as at Mt Panorama.
So there will be one pit stop required and tire chose(s) will be left to the teams to decide.
As usual driving aids will be available to drivers and teams to use.
Laps will be 40. Which will go quickly as the circuit is not very long in time length.
If there is an interest for any team wanting to attend a pre practice session. Let me know so I can make arrangements with Apricot Hill Raceway. Planned practice will be March 26.
This has been a 'race time' control update.
Wednesday and friday around 8Yes there will be time for photo taking and enjoying the valley.
I expect everyone to stick afterwards and do some star gazing.
My crew has already been informed to leave everything until the morning after. I call it 'drop your tools and enjoy yourselfs.'
The one question I forgot to ask last night. When's a great time for you and I to meet? You mentioned Monday and Tuesday are tough nights. Of course I'm flexible to any schedule.
@ McKeag I'm sure that Tarkus will slip a NASCAR race into the schedule tonight. Probably 25 laps around Daytona or something similar.I didn't wanna say anything but I was sad to think of nascar not being on the roster

Anyone else looking at this post should know that tonight (Thursday March 20th) is our casual race night. Mostly PP races and maybe a one-make or NASCAR race thrown in. The group is always looking for more racers to stop in for some fun. If you arn't already a member, why not? Send Tarkus1 a FR on PSN before 8PM E.S.T. tonight and come and join our band of merry men for some races. See post #132 for the scheduled PP races. Races go from 8PM E.S.T. until everyone is worn out, usually 11PM-12AM. Headsets arn't required, but are helpful. See you tonight on the track.
McKeag, right?Thought; does everyone here have a codename? My last name is constantly mis-pronounced anyways.
