Remember that those prize totals are with a 200% log in bonus ^^^^^^^. 30 laps @ Laguna Seca with a NASCAR??? Time to start testing..............

Yeah guys maintain the 200% login bonus. It only takes a few minutes.
If NASCAR can drive Laguna, we can do it.

Right now I'm waiting on the BOSS for final approval. As soon as I hear from him the word will get out.
So plan for either Laguna Seca or Daytona with our NASCARs.
The Shelby GT 500 at Apricot Hill is also on the table.

If I know the BOSS, he's probably spending the prize credits he got from our race in Austarilia.
He could also be stuck in Austrailia after attending the F1 race at Melbourne.

Just standby. The BOSS is set to speak today.

Ok here is the official word from 'race time' control.

The Main Event for thrusday night has been delayed. Due to scheduling difficulties and track availability.

So thrusday night's racing will consist of our usual 'casual' format.
However to keep you hungary racers.....hungary. This is the planned agenda.
Performance points races will be as followed.
First race: 475, 2nd: 512, 3rd: 530, 4th: 560 5th: 580, 6th: 610, 7th: 680, 8th: Any thing you can bring.
So bring it.
Remember PP is all that will be looked at during tech inspection. As usual no laughing gas.
If time premits a 'One Make Race will be included.

Tracks are in discussion as we speak. They will be announced later tonight.

This is a race control update.

What's up with the odd PP no#s? where are the standard splits 500/550/575/600? Where did these no#s come from?512PP??????? That's a scary looking Tjger in your avatar, Tjger. P.S. That was me in that room with you @mckeag53 on Apricot Hill but, I left when I didn't see you racing anymore. Stock.

Yeah, I got caught behind another racer whose' engine had blown. Oil smoke was everywhere so I had to back off.

Back off badly. Actually a slow connection.

512PP???? Thats how many whiskers I have. Any further questions?

Ouch, Ouch, there,.... now its 510. Just for you. My favorite whiskers.

Right now these numbers were picked randomly just to get things rolling without everyone guessing. In the future the drivers will decide the numbers and tracks, but with a......

I'll save that detail for later.

Wasn't racing. Strategy runs

:gtpflag:Alright drivers. This is a 'race time' control update.

This week(March 20) we will run our casual night of racing.
PP levels will be starting with the first race; 475, 510, 540, 560, 580, 610, 680, and if time permits. Anything you bring will qualify.
You drivers will pick the tracks and no fighting is allowed. So pick wisely.

Now for the big news.
Our Main Event race scheduled for March 27 is confirmed, sealed, and a done deal.
After a long night of negotiations Apricot Hill Raceway and the gracious folks residing in Apricot Valley have asked us to race our Shelby GT 500s. The only stipulation is we keep our Mt Panorama numbers. It seems according to the town mayor our race at Mt. Panorama attracted more viewers than the F1 race at Melbourne. So 570 PP, 700 HP, and 1720 weight will be what our cars will be tech inspected for.

Tire wear will be NORMAL again.
All other regulations will be the same as at Mt Panorama.
So there will be one pit stop required and tire chose(s) will be left to the teams to decide.

As usual driving aids will be available to drivers and teams to use.

Laps will be 40. Which will go quickly as the circuit is not very long in time length.

If there is an interest for any team wanting to attend a pre practice session. Let me know so I can make arrangements with Apricot Hill Raceway. Planned practice will be March 26.

This has been a 'race time' control update.

Think we can do a jam tasting and touring of the Orchards? They do the same every year when nascar goes to Sonoma, CA (being wine country of course).

Liking this alternating week-style for endurance events.

Yes there will be time for photo taking and enjoying the valley.
I expect everyone to stick afterwards and do some star gazing.

My crew has already been informed to leave everything until the morning after. I call it 'drop your tools and enjoy yourselfs.'

The one question I forgot to ask last night. When's a great time for you and I to meet? You mentioned Monday and Tuesday are tough nights. Of course I'm flexible to any schedule.

Sounds good Tjger. I'll be looking for my 475PP car tonight. Maybe we'll meet up later on line and swap ideas. Stock.

Yeah, we'll meet up tonigt for sure to work the final details at Apricot Hill.
mckeag 53 you're invited to. 8:00 PM EST.

Wednesday and friday around 8

^ Good, wednesday and friday which works out just fine. 8PM EST.
Probably tonight I'll finish the Main Event package and then forward it to the BOSS for approval.
To the racers who are tuning in. Everything stated in post 132 is set in stone.

IF FOR SOME UNKNOWN ISSUE SOMETHING IS CHANGED. POST 132 WILL HAVE THE DETAILS

The only thing left to do is work with the Apricot International Airport folks and secure parking for our planes.

Tjger has at least 25 people in his entorage from his pit crew and race chief to his personal chef and massuse. It takes a C130 to get him and his cars to each of our races. Luckily for him, being a billionaire playboy, he's got the cash to do so. I'm leaving for the races today because all I have is an RV and a trailer. I hope I make it in time for the first race. I'll be cutting it close................Stock

That must be an A-10 from the Md. Air National Guard right? just making sure.

Ok, but back to business. As Tjger (my field general) has previously stated, there will be an EVENT planned for every OTHER week which will allow us to keep our usual casual racing going and still get in some cool endurance races. As far as the casual racing goes, we will be using the PP's as my general has stated as well as a probable "one make". I just wanted to throw out there that we will also most likely be doing (on the casual nights) a 25(ish) lap race around Daytona so have your NASCAR ready at all times.
Of course there will be extra credits given to anyone bringing an A-10 to the races but the details are still being worked out with Kaz on that one. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my flight back from Oz as Tjger had it right. I was actually busy all week spending my recent winnings in the land down undah. Should arrive back in the states soon and will be ready to go full throttle Thursday evening.
And one more thing here. In case anyone is out there wondering, we are still open to new team members.
See ya all on the track (provided there's no airline delays of course but since I'm flying direct from Oz on an F-22 I don't expect any issues aside from the in-air refueling. yeah, I got connections)!

No this girl is from Germany.
This is my favorite A-10. I use to crew this lovely piece of machinery. Her name was...... I'll save for another post.
There's not enough internet paper to describe her. So everyone needs to turn down their volume on Thursday to keep from hearing my stories.

Ok guys, this week's PP numbers are 475, 510, 540, 560, 580, 610, 680, and a One Make race.
So you guys pick the tracks, laps, and the one make. If there is time or we squeeze it in the middle, Daytona.

Then it's off to Apricot Hill on the 27th of March. The Main Event which some of you already can't wait for.

Check post 132 for details.

I didn't wanna say anything but I was sad to think of nascar not being on the roster
@ McKeag I'm sure that Tarkus will slip a NASCAR race into the schedule tonight. Probably 25 laps around Daytona or something similar.

Anyone else looking at this post should know that tonight (Thursday March 20th) is our casual race night. Mostly PP races and maybe a one-make or NASCAR race thrown in. The group is always looking for more racers to stop in for some fun. If you arn't already a member, why not? Send Tarkus1 a FR on PSN before 8PM E.S.T. tonight and come and join our band of merry men for some races. See post #132 for the scheduled PP races. Races go from 8PM E.S.T. until everyone is worn out, usually 11PM-12AM. Headsets arn't required, but are helpful. See you tonight on the track.

April 3rd will be the next Casual night.
For that night, a variety of tracks will be presented. Our club drivers can pick the PP, laps, and the one make race.

April 17th will be the next Casual night.
For that night, our drivers will pick everything. I call it "You want it you got night."

April 24th, May 8th we will recycle the format. PP, tracks, and "You want it you got night."

The BOSS wants everyone to have a voice in what we do. That's what makes our club what it is.
I'm still in awe at the great turn out with our Shelby GT 500 at Mt Panorama. THANK YOU:cheers:

Definitely after next week the Shelby GT 500 will be retired.

For the next 'Main Event' (April 10) which is in its early stages. The winner, runner up, and last across the finish line from the March 27 race will pick the car, track, and laps.
In that order. Our drivers should be given the opportunity to contribute to the clubs success. 💡

You sure hit that one on the head. I'm sure a NASCAR and one make will find it's way into the mix tonight.
