This is the first time I'm organizing an onilne race and I have a question. Can anyone tell me how do I make sure that ONLY the users that joined the race @ the thread I created for this coming Sunday here at GTplanet are the ONLY ones who will be racing and not juts anyone who happens to see the room online and wants to join? How do I prevent others from joining so that the slots are not taken by other people? Thanks in advance.

Calling all Gran Turismo racers. I am currently running a Japanese Super GT Race series in which will be held once every friday with tracks such as Monza, Suzuka, Nurburgring,Daytona and Circuit de la Sarthe. The cars cost 950,000 however i will glady supply your car. Currently there are 6 seats still available out of a possible 12. Cars will be limited to 502 BHP and all cars(if purchased by myself) will come with Hard,Medium and Soft Racing Tyres.Doesnt matter how skilled you are or what level you are as long as you would be committed to spending an hour each friday racing you are welcome to join.

Hi all,

It's not long until I'll have to conquer the 24h races, which are kind of impossible to do on your own, if you kept on going without pausing the game. I had an idea to get another person that lives around me and do the 24h race, where we'll race for 3 hours and then we'll swap and so on, until the race is over. Of course, if anyone wants to do the same thing, I'm more than happy to help them. I'll also provide snacks and drinks

I live in England, Oxford and I'm a student, so I can't do it during the week, but I'm always free during the weekends

GT5-SCOL is a weekly race league. We race every Saturday Night at 10pm (GMT) and have many practice sessions throughout the week.

Our races are approx 87.5 miles per race and usually takes between 40 and 75 mins with a 30 min qualifying session before hand.

We also have our own LIVE qualifying boards which updates our drivers with current qualifying times via laptop, computer or smart phone.

We have room for 5 more drivers to join our league so if you enjoy competitive clean racing and would like to join us please either send a PSN message to robgroove with GT5SCOL in the subject or come along to our forum and fill in the apilcation form.

The majority of our drivers are in the UK but EVERYONE is welcome.

Should be open for a couple of hours from now at least, not fixed room ownership anyway so the party can carry on if I decide to leave.

I'm fairly new to online racing, but I'm looking forward to doing some more. I have 3 kids and work occasional evenings so it's hard for me to commit to a weekly league. I'm on CST and like to race after 9pm (11pm EDT). I'm usually racing 1-2 nights per week, but they are different every week. I'm most interested in supercars and tuned street cars on Sports Soft tires or Racing Cars on Racing Hard tires. I'm also open to other types of racing.

If you are looking for someone to race later in the evening, but can't commit to a formal league then add me and maybe we can hook up. Please add a comment about online racing in your message.
