Good Evening guys 👍
Here's another Video......unfortunately after two minutes of recording the sound just dissappeard so when I edited it I added some music.
Enjoy
You know what to do by now....double click the Video and watch it via You Tube in High Quality playback.
How incredibly embarrassing. Craig, stay away from me!!!
I'm just kidding mate, that video was superb and I loved the soundtrack. The way you caught different groups and different stages of the race...worked brilliantly didn't it? Many thanks for that. How many other events got their own camera car eh??
As for tonight, again GTP_HUN and GTP_mr_Geez were superb, and JvM and Energiya joined the fun later on being straight on the pace. Some incredibly intense races tonight, people really taking the Evora Cup very seriously. You guys really want this one on the mantlepiece!
This Lotus Evora is a real enigma of a car. Not really tending towards oversteer or understeer in any categoriseable way, it has great handling and is very reliable...yet you just know you will make one horrific mistake in 5 laps of Suzuka. It seems absolutely unavoidable!
I've got a few ideas about this event, Dan your input would be great too.
1) A simultaneous hotlap competition where we post our best laps in this thread from online freerun and on the first page, we do a leaderboard like Timppaq used to do for the other events. No need for a separate thread.
2) When the event is coming to a close (i.e. when Suzuka 750PP is removed by an update), we all vote for our top 3 drivers in the event and the one with the most votes...well...they get to walk away with the Lotus Evora Cup
3) Giving the other cars a 30 second headstart. Some of the slower 750PP drivers are really starting to mess with the outcome of the races. They really can't take being overtaken by the Evoras and resort to blocking, punting etc.
What do you guys think? I am also very happy to keep things exactly the way they are because at the moment even with a grid of 4 cars, the races are sublime.
Keep up the great work lads.
All the best
Maz
