Absolutely awesome to see a fleet of SEVEN Evoras in that last race, immense!! I was laughing my ass off at how one Evo/Mine's/Corvette/GTR was wiping us all out on some races. That French guy in the pink Amuse was awesome though, he let us by, respected our race, raced with us and even let us win :)

Jack, the way you drifted around Turn 1 was fantastic, although I couldn't see a damn thing for all the smoke :D

Sorry about shooting off at the start, I was downstairs and didn't read the bit about the delay, I was about to come upstairs and suggest it myself, so great job on implementing that.

@DC, I agree about the drafting, this car seems tro be more about drifitng. Quality tune by the way, I'm running your setup with 4th gear lengthened just a bit so I don't have to shift up before 130R or T1 without draft.

Loving this lads (and Samantha if you can get Dan off!), be back a bit later...the TV's been commandeered for Eastenders...grmbl...

EDIT: Do we all have to run that Mountain Dew green colour on the Evora? Actually that might be really funny...also the timeslot seems perfect, I can see us getting a full grid of only Evoras very soon.

All the best
Maz

argh.. I forgot that my setup for the Evora was erased when some moron cut off the power from his PS3 as he was host and losing, and I didn't have autosave on.. >.<

Hey Dutch, sorry for the T-bone, almost cost you 10th place! were you sandbagging by any chance?

What kind of lap times are you all doing? (i'm 2:09 on a good run).

Fastas

It was not your fault, I came in way too fast. ;) You didn't have to wait (but it was nice you did :)) This may sound really stupid but what is sandbagging?

"Sandbagging" is a slang term:
"When a player in any game chooses (on purpose) not to play their best."

Also:
"Sandbagging is a term used in drag racing when a racer has a dial-in time much slower than the car can actually perform. The function of sandbagging is to guarantee a win by outperforming the slower opponent at first, and then hitting the brakes near the finish line in time to just barely beat the opponent."

edit: treed.

going slow on purpose:tup:
Thanks for explaining. :) In that case: no, but I'm still puzzled to what is the best overtaking strategy for this car, so I'm not too keen on overtaking yet. So I kept behind Fastas at the straights instead of passing. Just to make sure there were no crashes induced by my lack of insight. :)

Nope, just being cautious. :)

Sandbagging - going slower than you can. I'd have to do a Wiki' search to give you details but - something about adding sandbags to a vehicle to reduce its speed, hence the term.

Way too slow on and off track, lol.

Don't worry about the gears guy's, I spoke to an engineer today, and we have a close ratio box option already in hand, lets hope as soon as we get it in the car, we get it in GT5P. :)

I also have seen some info about supercharged and turbocharged models.. are they under testing yet? ;)

Hyperuk, this was a great idea, really enjoying the racing tonight.

Sorry Maz, better mention you too, you did tip me off, good call mate.
