lol, It is great to see so many Evora's. Many new faces keep dropping in, Jack, Fairplay, the stig, KOR_Joker. 👍

my first night racing in the evora cup...and boy it was fun & clean too. it's funny the way the members pull out of the grid position to let the other racers past, then you see them reversing back into there spot. ha. yeh some nice races though with GTP_fair_play_plz GTP_marchbrown GTP_mr_geez GTI_theewar & a few more, and a big shout to my good friend EBK.which you wouldn't believe that he's in a wheel chair, but the most incredible thing is that EBK is using the steering wheel with the bucket seat & pedals too. how crazy is that!!! I rate him one of the best driver's on gt5p, even on time trails he's hard to beat.yeh so great racing EBK . see you & the other members on the track tomorrow. peace!!👍

Sorry to those I may have hindered or even tapped while trying to control the Evora last night. Did only a few races ( or was it just one ) , but then went back to the EVO.
Respect to those who can tame this beast. The DC tune helped a bit but to me it's still a bit tailhappy at moments I don't want it too.

The trick is to floor it when exiting a turn. If you lift off or do not apply enough throttle the liftoff oversteer will kill you. Main problem areas where this occurs is turn 1 and entering degner.

Awesome race, 4th out of a field of 10, only three Evora's, and I finished 12 seconds behind leader after a 20 sec head start!
DC, you were looking pretty useful too

I was actually doing quite alright, thank you. I also changed the tune a bit. Gears 3 and 4 are now slightly longer, so less shifting is required.

What kind of laps do you guys do in the Evora? Clean lap, no obstructions, etc. Just started getting to grips with the Evora.
My best of maybe 2-3 clean, unobstructed laps (idiot in a Ferrari California sat behind me continually booting me up the rear end) was a 2'13.7XX. I'm going to try again later, hopefully be less idiots around.

I did 2'08.xxx in free run earlier when I 30min tested DC's tune. Feels very good.

I am about as consistent as a blade of grass tonight. I haven't ran a free run lap in the Evora since I tested the tune, I think 2'06.xxx is possibile. Race times can differ from 2'02.xxx - 2'09.xxx with the RBE.
