Thanks Mule and Wardez for taking time out to create a great series, was a blast to do the race. I was happy to take a strong 2nd (3rd if LaPierre was there- sorry you got disconnected man I'm sure it would have been a great battle with brosif) I got in a hero run in quali and knew I would not be the fastest car there, but I was planning on staying in the draft and hanging out with Pierre for the whole race. Some minor, but significant early race contact took me out of contention for a win, but I was not the fastest, or even 2nd fastest so it doesn't bother too much, I just believe strongly in super-clean racing and take that seriously as it tends to ruin some of the fun. I came a long way with setting the car up in less than a week and only 2 practice sessions early in the week. P1/P2 were in a different level of setup just watching the replays and looking at tire wear. Still a great time and good to get in a real race distance. A great job by EERS too, battling through the pack to take a hard fought podium. 👍
I won't make it for the next race as I have autocross events coming up on Sundays, but hope to make a couple of more races before the season is out. Hopefully I'm not left completely in the dust with setup by then!
In the meantime, I'll be hosting my Spec Racing Lobby during the week (all recommended cars, no tuning, everyone in the same equipment etc) and anyone that has participated in the Elise Series is welcome to attend (though I'm sure you'll want every extra minute to practice and setup your Elise for the next event!) Still, if you are in the mood for super spec pickup race than stop by! Good luck to all and Ill be back for an RM Lotus Series Race in 2-3 weeks hopefully. Cheers!
