About



Made for Racing (M4R) was formed to race in the 2015 CORE Nurburgring 24 hour in March of 2014 following the 2014 race in February.


2014 N24 team mates from team Anywhere but Last (ABL) @adrianhettich and @P1K3Y_M1k3Y looked toward the 2015 race almost immediately, talks started between us and @Pluxtheduck who in 2014 had the privilege to share the 3rd step of the podium with the team he was racing with Team Motion Blur (TMB). After a short time Plux joined the team and took the role of team manager.


When Plux started we had a 4th driver who soon retired from racing, we decided it would be better to have 4 drivers for the 24 hour race and started looking at our options.


We had few options open to us for our 4th driver, at the time Mikey was racing in the [FGTA] World GT Championship and 1 of the drivers from the championship stood out as a very quick and competitive driver, and so @gtpcaine was welcomed to the team.


All information about the race and all the build up races can be found below, feel free to watch this thread to keep up to date, these OP's will be kept up to date as the races happen and results are released.

The Races

This will comprise of 5 races for all teams with 2 drivers in attendance. The races will decide the new teams pick order for cars and will give all other teams the chance to evaluate new teams and get use to each other on track. The cars will be GT4 spec cars and therefore will be slower and easier to handle than the GT3. This gives a good and clear indication of how drivers perform in wheel to wheel action as well as different scenarios.

The qualifying rounds for the N24, a gruelling 9 hours of qualifying to decide grid position for the 24 hour race. For this series the full GT3 spec cars will be used in three separate lobbies. In each lobby the team will be represented by one driver, and the times of the three team members will be added up to create the final results.

The double points races were the most disastrous points wise in my book! I think I'm a fluke but I'll try to prove myself wrong at Suzuka.

The leader didn't go at the line, I was the first to remember the rule book and jump on it.

#GTPSPA24 1 hour update.

A great start from Caine saw him momentarily take the lead, an amazing 3 wide fight on the Kemmel Straight into Les Combes saw us drop back to 2nd.

On the hour we took a pit stop and dropped down the field from that 2nd place, although we expect to come back up the order back to 2nd when others pit.

#GTPSPA24 Hour 2 update

An incident with a back marker saw Caine have to pit early, this saw us drop to 5th, we are now out of sync with the pit stops.

With some teams taking driver changes just after the hour we are slowly coming back up the order for now, but just under 22 hours left to go.

After our pit stop on the 3rd hour following a huge moment for Caine out of Blanchimont we believe we are currently in 3rd position behind TNR and BRR.

more pit stops and driver changes should see us up to 2nd before the end to Caines stint.
