Maggiore "N2O" -curve too slippery?

Even though it does make the curve feel a bit more lively, I cant help feeling there's inconsistency in traction at the exit of this curve compared to the rest of the track. Its like the track is always wet just after the "N2O" -curve at Maggiore.

Looks like your car might be trying to shake off that livery:sly:.

What are your LSD settings?

Sport mode so setup is fixed. Its manageable wit tcs 0, but thats the only place where its constantly trying to slip.

Ps. Nothing wrong with that livery.. Took me whole 7 minutes to make that.

This is because you run LSD accel 40 and at this point you exit the compression of the banked apex , passing to the horizontal part of the track ,
. The decompression have taken out the load of the rear end at this moment and the outside rear wheel spin. The only solution i have found with this high LSD is to open my driving input modulating the gas. You will still have plenty of time to regain the driving line back to the right part of the track for the next left.
The other option not nailing the apex and take it more round , this don t provoke this reaction of the car and it is almost as fast.

I usually take the rouder line - even though in competition this often results in opportunistic high risk passes.

You seem like you know what you're talking about. Care to explain what LSD is to a mere mortal like myself? :)

L-imited S-lip D-ifferential : In the drivetrain section of the setting panel.
The stock value that you can t change in the daily events is the same for all the GR3 or GR4 cars, the acceleration setting , set at 40 , is too high for the majority of the cars. At this level, under acceleration out corner, most of the power is transfered to the exterior wheel .
For powerfull engine , the tendency is to make the car spin immediately if you don t have a very carefull throttle control at this moment.

@Haitauer ...this is why I asked about the LSD. Stock settings are higher than optimum meaning the outside wheel spins first under heavy acceleration leading to a loss of control in this particular corner. If you can't tune the LSD you have to tune your right foot instead. Or right trigger as the case may be:).

I'm guessing at you get feedback from wheel like dead fish clamped on tires?
That's PD's newest FFB effect, it toke bit time from me to realise what that is, there's something wrong along it correctness.

Effect comes when your car suspension bottoms and body compress wouldn't leave space to rise up from there, this effect on locked setups on BoP races can annoy, until you know reason (like you do now) and start to maneuver those places slightly differently, avoiding suspension bottoming.
When tuning is available just adjust suspension and that is gone.

I liked that accident.

Exactly like in real life...if something goes deeply wrong. lol :-P
