The AL has been a step below the NL this year.It would’ve been better not reaching the World Series for another 15 years, rather than getting there and playing like this.
The Yankees truly suck.
Bad take. Also, the Yankees were poorly constructed going into this season. While I believe they would have been in better shape had the Mets won, I don't think they had a chance against the NL outright. The Dodgers are showing how you properly run a big market franchise. Hopefully the Yankees top brass are paying attention but I doubt it, they probably think getting to the WS shows they are doing things right. Incredible that they can have a $310 million payroll, with hardly any major injuries, and have a roster this bad. So top heavy it's ridiculous.
As for Judge, it will be hilarious when he gets the MVP after this. 196/303/430 with 86 strikeouts in 56 playoff games, over 7 separate years. It's not a small sample size, he's Mr May, a flat track bully feasting on the weak pitching during the regular season. What a shame he didn't take the Giants money a couple of years back.
I agree with this. The Yankees are fundamentally flawed. That said they should have won game 1. Boone should not have put in a pitcher who hasn't pitched since August. As long as Cashman is gm the Yankees will not winBad take. Also, the Yankees were poorly constructed going into this season. Ball was in the stands. Ok it was in Mookie’s glove at the time but still, finders keepers.Yankee fans trying everything to keep their team in the game. Including interfering with a foul ball catch. Probably not the best idea.
sadlyI thought for sure that there was going to be a game 6 but that didn't happen. The Dodgers were the better team.It was good to see Judge hit too bad it was too little too late. TBH even if he was taking from the jump he wouldn't have been able to overcome the Yankees analytical dept. I will never understand in what universe it makes sense to put in a pitcher who hasn't pitched in a couple months to pitch to Freddie Freeman of all people in extra innings. That has to be one of the most boneheaded decisions in all of sports. To me that's a fire lable offense. Anyway hopefully Uncle Steve doesn't sign Soto away from the Yankees
