If you've made a change or asked to be put on a list (or taken off), I HIGHLY recommend you re-check that post #2 afterward, and see if you're added as you asked.

The details are there too.
Asking me privately or in the thread for details is really probably a bad idea. :lol:
Because I'm going by post #2 myself! So you can just look there!!
Before the event, I refer to post #2 myself to set things up & run the event. I could never remember these things off-hand. I'm looking at post #2 too!
So just look at post #2 - and you will see if your spot is reserved, and you will see what you will need for the event you're signed up for!

Well, actually not just before asking, but probably instead of asking. Because I'm just as likely to answer a question in confusion, and get it wrong. :ouch:
Of course if something in post #2 looks confusing or there's a typo or some error, then ask about that! So I can look and see if there's something wrong, or explain. :nervous:

Well... If you look at the beginning of the thread, it's mentioned right up top of the OP - links to the first 3 posts, saying what's in them. All you need to know about this whole entire league is in the 1st 3 posts.
Once you know about the cars & the lists & how it works, you really just need to look at "the mighty post #2". :lol:
But of the 1st 3 posts... Post #2 is the one that people usually ask questions that the info is in that post... and it's the ONLY one of the first 3 with NO LIKES at all!

On an unrelated note, with 1.04 PD fixed the online brake balance bug! Huzzah! (Confirmed this myself last night.) So we can fiddle with the brakes on the luxury beasts to tweak handling.

The tyre heating model is changed as well, so expect less grip on lap one than before. Takes a while to get heat in. Admittedly I just did a couple laps last night to test brakes, but the car seemed noticeably looser on the first lap or so. 👍
 
I have tried to join about 5 times, the room number is accepted and it shows "makeshift shuffle" room, then says nurb screen, but then bombs out - disconnected. Is this because the room is full?
 
What I was trying to say before I was booted was that I didn't want to hold you folks up and I was going to take off. And that I was looking forward to running with you next time and having all the cars beforehand. The last part thanking you for letting me run with you guys. (Was kicked typing the last word). Anyways enjoy the rest of your races, it was fun racing with you guys and maybe I will see you next time.

Hope the last race went well... I got a frozen black screen right when the start countdown ended :mad: so I had to forcibly shut down. :banghead: Servers seemed really :censored:ed today. Connexion tests didn't show anything abnormal for me, but on the safe side I'll say I regret if any problems were sourced at my end.

On a positive note, every single replay I managed to save today loaded! Considering I have about a 5% success rate in loading replays thus far, I was pretty stoked. 👍

Older replays still crashed my ps3 though. 👎

Sorry Slalom - but I had no idea if you'd ever come out of the text typing screen & remove yourself from the track :nervous: so we could start the race! :) :boggled: :(
I couldn't start the race with you still in the track with the wrong car, if you see what I mean. ^^ :indiff:

We were running quite late today because of confusion at the start, and if I don't start really reigning the confusion & delays, others will get mad at me. :mad: :scared: And start demanding the race start already. :ill:

You're welcome to sign up and reserve a spot in scheduled events, and then we'll know to expect you, and you can be prepared knowing the details of what's going on. 👍


Note: I think one of the problems comes in because people don't realize that they're still "in the track" if they don't hit the X thing to withdraw from the race.

^^^^ I was a little surprised you seemed to be in such a rush to boot me, and it's because I didn't realize I was in the pits or on track!! I thought I was out of the race and would be off track and able to watch, not on track. Sorry about that!

The races I did were fun though and it seemed like it was close and clean racing.

Hey, no hard feelings!!
I was kind of in a rush to boot you. :lol: Well, not in a rush to boot you... I was in a rush to start the race.
In order to get as much racing in... we have to keep things moving between races.

That's why I keep saying "Get in your car first then chat!"... because then someone can be checking your car. But if you're not in your car, nobody can check or start the race when ready.
So sometimes people are buried in that text screen & everyone else is waiting. :lol:
But in your case it was that everyone was waiting for you to leave the track. :boggled: :lol:

Believe it or not, I really hate kicking people at all! That's why I do the countdown! :lol:
People say "the countdown of doom" and that it's scary. :lol: :guilty:
But I do that because I don't like using the kick function... it seems so final and extreme. :ill: :lol:

But if I don't do it...
Well some stranger can jump in the race after the countdown starts, and then everyone will blame the host!! :scared:
For some reason you CAN'T kick someone once the race start button is pressed and the countdown starts, but people can still enter the track!!
And that happened in the past. :grumpy: Where some stranger got out of the car... but then waited for the countdown to start, and I tried & tried to kick him - even tried blocking him on PSN while the countdown was happening - .... and nothing, he was able to stay in the room & race. :mad: :crazy: The kick function doesn't work when the countdown of the race is in progress.
