At last!!!!!

Sorry, late to the party :D

I must say, it looks like a combination of two of my course creator tracks from GT5 (one of them is named after Busch Gardens btw). with a healthy dose of Bathurst and the Nurburgring and Matterhorn. Bring it on!

Judging by the first trailer, i think Sierra/ Zahara will be available in 4 or 5 variations (something like Cape Ring)
maybe this 'point-to-point' event is offline only and the other variations (including the full track) will be available online too
btw, at this point it's just speculation

Reasonable and intelligent though.

I'd say Flugplatz is a "BIG" jump. It turned my Rocket, into an actual rocket 👍

With a lightweight car like that, sure. When I was going over it last night in my Yellowbird it's just a little hop and nothing to be bothered about. Just my personal opinion of course, but Flugplatz-style jumps are fun and challenging, Cape Ring-style jumps belong in a carnival side-show, perhaps with a flaming hoop to jump through.

Come on Brandon. It is the Real Driving Simulator. Now, while trying to race over a jump isn't terribly conducive to control, jumping through a flaming hoop while driving has been done many times... ;)

This is a very good point. I've not seen the jump yet on this new track.. hope it's more Flugplatz than Cape Ring... although I do have to admit, I did like the big jumps on the Seattle track. :mischievous:

Well, we can already see that it has at least one big jump in it, which is rubbish. 👎

Yeah, just like the track which was created for GT5, i cant remember its name cause i didnt play too much in recent weeks. :))

@CeeJay watch the video in the OP and you will see the jump.

I will admit it's probably a pretty big jump but if that's the natural road then slow down or make sure you are not attacking it at an angle...you hear rally co-drivers say "...big jump, keep in..." and what not to allow the driver to correct and not fly off the road, etc.

Ok I see it now, thank you, stuff1138. Hmmm, maybe just being a "drop" instead of a jump might not be too bad. I'm guessing this track will be like the Nurburgring where you can only race it in one direction? If the car was coming the other way that would definitely seem to be a rather large jump. Ah well we'll see. Still can't wait!! :D

I know how to attack a course like that. It's the noob behind me that I'd be worried about, I can't count on him to slow down for it at the same time I slow down for it. That's why I hate tracks with big jumps, gonna have a bad time.

Now if there WAS a flaming hoop with the jump, that would change everything! 👍

Are those new HUD indicators direction arrows or something? Kinda like what you have in rally games... maybe? Since this track is new, long and twisty... I dunno, just a thought...

Looking again they appear to be clock faces.. that inconjunction with the countdown timer on screen suggests an 'Outrun' style -- make the next checkpoint before the time runs out... with multiple cars on track, that would make it an eliminator style event too.

Have you noticed how the Viper simply stops after the clocks on the second video? I think you might be on to something

We'll I've just got online today but I am obviously thrilled. So just to clarify, am I hearing you guys talking about multiple layouts? Been working a lot today and tomorrow so I'll have to get up to pace on this news, BUT I'M HUGELY EXCITED!!!

Not really interested in the FT1 VGT and the Nismo, but I'd be VERY keen on that Alfa Romeo VGT, that's the kind of sports car I'm looking for!

I'm not sure, but I can't make sense of the mini map in GTP's picture. Does anyone have footage of the guy in the racing seat?

All 3 new videos show the area south east of the lake, from what I can tell.

I don't think it's rubbish.
Don't forget it are public roads where the maximum allowed speed is 100 km/h tops.
Probably less than that. These roads are not meant to be driven at speeds you will drive in GT6.

Even in a flat country as the Netherlands there are roads that will send you flying at 150 km/h

Update 1.12 will coming next week which including:
  • Sierra time rally
  • Quick match
  • VGT which already announced
  • Additional Dashboard instrumental gauge option

Sorry for late.
