@fagnerpc
Care to speculate what the green numbered flags throughout the course represent? #26 @1:32 and #42 @3:18 Plus others that I can't make out on bridges and such.

Wait is the track a full circuit or is it a point to point circuit? I hope that it's a point to point.

Glad we know for sure now that we will have an actual circuit. The longest layout (of there is more than 1) will be the one to use for Targa Zahara rooms (2 laps, pre-80's sports cars, 450pp sports cars). I've already tested at Ascari with stock suspension and the same top speed gear at that 450pp for the Alpine A110, Mercedes Gullwing, Ferrari 246 Dino, and Shelby Cobra and they run very evenly at that level. There are a handful of cars I still haven't tested too, but that form of racing will be epic fun online and PERFECT for photomode sets, especially if everybody put a driver number on their car, cus those big number circles and squares are very period correct for this kind of a race.

Noticed that too (#3 @1:17, #26 @1:32, #40 in @2:40, #42 @3:18 and #44 @3:40)
maybe PD split this 'Sierra Rally Time' event in sectors - this green flags appears on a certain pattern
there's some signs along the track too with the Sierra's logo (green, red and blue)... maybe its just for reference or some kind of checkpoint system

I don't think it's rubbish.
Don't forget it are public roads where the maximum allowed speed is 100 km/h tops.
Probably less than that. These roads are not meant to be driven at speeds you will drive in GT6.

Even in a flat country as the Netherlands there are roads that will send you flying at 150 km/h

That's all fine and dandy, but that doesn't mean it makes for good racing. A jump like that when racing against other people will likely end in tears more times than not, especially in a car with some power. Not my preference, but that doesn't mean anyone else needs to agree with my preference.

I'm sure it'll be fine. The FIA don't need to know! :P

It may not be great for GT racing, but that's not why I'm interested in it - there are other kinds of racing, mind you; but that's not why I'm interested in it, either. I'm just glad they've made something for me this time. :D

Also: Race to T1 from a standing start? Ends in tears. 40 cars on a short oval? Ends in tears. Etc.

Hey guys, i mixed some of my short videos into one
the quality still subpar, but we'll be getting Sierra soon (i guess :D)

Layout is much clearer there, I might redo my picture again.

edit: actually I think I'll wait for the map, it's close enough.

And Zahara is free ;)

Has that been stated anywhere that it would be free?

Even if it would happen to be paid DLC, I'll definitely purchase it, I just wish they wouldn't have put all the kerbs around the track. I think it would be better if it looked more like the Eiger tracks, rather than a more permanent looking circuit.
Or perhaps there are multiple sections, and one is made up as a permanent circuit with connections to full circuit as the original video we saw in Jan. didn't have kerbs in all the sections they showed. That being said, we still haven't seen the whole track, and more tracks is always better. :)

It is already installed in the game.

I thought only the name was in there, and not the whole track? Even if it is in there, it would still need to be unlocked and they could charge us for the unlock code. That's how all the DLC for GT5 worked.

It is so cool that this track is FINALLY coming. I cant wait to hear what people think about it 👍.

For me though, its too late. I hear Traansfargaran North calling my name from Assetto Corsa.

Enjoy the new track everyone! I hope it is a awesome as it looks.

My PS3 is ready:

Why is everyone so bothered by the fact that someone has a different opinion than you? I didn't say anyone else had to think that having a jump in a track doesn't make for good, serious racing. That's just my opinion, besides the Nordschleife I can't think of any real tracks that have more than a very minor jump (dirt/rally/motocross courses excluded). I'm sure they exist but I watch a lot of racing at different tracks and it's not a common feature (probably a reason for that). And week after week I watch drivers go into the first turn of an oval or road course, more times than not they get through it safely.

/discussion. Nobody else has to share my opinion or tell me why your opinion is better than mine.
