I just checked the website and I'm afraid that Cristobal1234 is lying. This is the real post.

I'm so buying the Lil' Tikes Cozy Coup!! I hope you can change the rims

I heard that it was originally intended to be the MCC Smart Car, but Kaz realised that more people would drive it if they scaled it down and put "Little Tikes" on the side. :sly:

Well, I've took some time digesting what I've seen. The track and location look superb! Looking forward to receiving this and dare I say its shaping up to be worthy of the wait! Can't wait to go up against some quick guys on this. Thinking this and the course maker will be highlights of gt6 :)

Sooo... looking at the vids which @fagnerpc uploaded, and specifically the last video, and the very end of that video.

Someone previously suggested that the screen was showing 1,000,000 credits for gold on the right hand side, and then something like xxx,000 for silver and bronze.

Now, usually with time trials and the like, the bit on the right of the screen where the gold, silver and bronze are, and where there is a tick showing what level you have passed, was for times, not for credits? Doesn't the prize money normally scroll across the bottom of the screen?

Also, if you look at that last screen, at the top left it seems to say "Target Score". So in my mind the 1,000,000 figure on the right hand side refers to the score you need to achieve. And not the credits you earn for that event.

Which intrigues me, because i cannot think of any other event in GT6 with a score any where near that figure. Only the drift events have high number scores and clearly this is not the same?

So what could the 1,000,000 score relate to???

Does anyone have any ideas...?

It's certainly interesting, whatever it may or may not be it's looking like something new, some kind of event/scoring system we've not faced before. Maybe each second your ahead of a time limit gets you lots of points. With the possibility of the track having many many sections maybe a score of 1million is possible. Who knows, I'm excited tho!

Even if it is 1,000,000 credits, this was likely in Japenese credits which usually has more commas and zeros than most of our credits. I remember in GT5 people flipped out at a screenshot showing someone with more than 20,000,000 credits, turned out it was Japanese currency.

True, however I think we received bigger payouts for doing a gold time in senna's lotus. 1,000,000 credits would appear fairly small to my mind.

Could be speed trial sections, like drift trial but just for speed. At 3:28 a yellow stopwatch icon appears in the middle of the track, so it should be something like that.

@Beat the Beat, you've looked at the track map. Do you think it will go through zahara? That would be epic!

My guess is will run along the side of the town but not go through it.
I think I went a bit crazy with the last map I drew, the layout is a bit too hard to see to get anything definite from.

But here's one crazy guess, the grid will be on a widened version of the dam at the north of the lake.

I just keep remembering about Andalusia." You can use the town and surrounding area as a course maker". Maybe I'm getting greedy! Gt6 is certainly hitting it's straps tho now.

I think it means 1,000,000yen. I think I remember seeing a picture of early GT6 which showed a yen symbol by a Honda Fit. I could be completely and utterly wrong. Probably am.

I think the denomination of the Credits in the JP version is similar to that of the Yen, I remember hearing of such thing with past GT games, but I don't know if it is the same as in GT6.

Isn't all this a little like having forza horizon in the same game as forza? I think we're being spoiled rotten. maybe it won't be so crazy but it's absolutely brilliant. Well done pd! There are many that still love you! What do we think about that bridge we saw in the vgt vw promo shots, is it possible that's actually part of the track? It could be

You can read all about it right here. Scroll to the bottom of the page and it should be around there somewhere.
I've seen that a long time ago, but still I don't understand some things. It says that "matching is performed according to preset regulations, and the race will start when there are enough participants."
So, maybe it's a new version of the Shuffle Racing. Can someone remember how Quick Match worked in GT5?

There was no "Quick Match" in GT5, as far as I can recall. But I assume it will be similar to the online gameplay in GT5: Prologue, where there were a few different events such as "550pp cars at X track", "400pp cars at Y track", etc. and those events would change every so often (I guess if it returns to GT6 they will update them with the seasonal events). Here on the forums we worked that if you joined a race at the same time as a friend, you will then end up in a race together. It was a lot of fun and it'd be a great addition to online if you're just wanting, well, a quick match.

So, you mean that we will do HP/PP races using cars given from the game itself?
Or we will have the ability to use the cars from our garage?

Possibly, that's just an assumption on my part but seems the most logical. We can use our own cars in the majority of the seasonal events, so I'd say that would be the case for Quick Match too. But who knows.

You are correct about the Yen having a higher denomination in the game.

However, my post was making the point that where the 1,000,000 figure was on the screen on the video is where they normally put times for the time trials, the credits always scroll across the bottom.

So unless they're changing the layout on screen, the 1,000,000 figure would not be credits but would be the target score instead.

Which would also mean that we wouldn't know what the credits amount will be as I don't think we can see the amount scrolling along the bottom. So the 1,000,000 credits seems to be a red herring.

Anyway, hopefully we will all know the answer next week :)

The logical solution would be to let you choose your own vehicles that qualify for the event, as well as giving you a handful of stock vehicles to choose from in case you don't have any that meet the regulations.
