March 2010 - make the wait bearable PD

We all wish PD delivered the game in 2009 but now that we know its not happening (as it's confirmed on the http://eu.gran-turismo.com/gb/ ).

If PD update the above great looking website each month with screenshots and video's to keep us going I think that will really help the time go by quickly and will have us bubbling with excitement in March for the release.

We are stuck with the above date now so I think as it's been officially announced, PD can start to market the product and whet our appetites in the appropriate way to keep us all informed and kept in the loop.

We want to hear news from PD's website not by leaks or the next weather forecast 'wind' story.

Do you think the above will help ease our disappointment or shall we still grab the pitchforks?

Yes, releasing a few screenshots and perhaps video every week or two from here on out would certainly help the wait. I have a feeling this will start happening once GT PSP is out of the way

No use in grabbing the pitchforks, PD knows Forza 3/Shift is like fast food, empty calories, and you'll be back for the real feast once its ready.

The more info on the game the better and it would be great for that info to come straight from PD. (in english)

I think PD should release the TGS demo on the PSN for all to download. That would hold me over till March.

I think a better idea would be to release Spec IV for Prologue with the Tokyo track and everything else updated to the TGS demo build.

An update to prologue would be more time consuming. The TGS demo is there ready to go, just submit it to Sony. Easy Peasy

I think this game will be like LBP. Everyone was expecting it to sell A LOT, but it didn't. That's because it was pushed back so much.

Building an update for Prologue is one thing, but releasing screenshots of whatever they have is not time consuming at all.

I think we are in for a lot more vagueness and lack of info... because I think what we are seeing is PD scrambling to get the game ready by any date and they are still not certain on times or feasability of some features until they are actually finished and working.

If those that said GT5 was delayed by forza and pd were caught on the hop are right then theoreticaly at least we should get alot more info after forza's release...or we can hope at least.

35 Tracks 800 Cars? Thats plenty to hold me off. Trust me, by The time GT5 comes out it would benefit me a TON!!! I will have my Racing setup and a better TV to boot!!!

I think I'm more sick of reading the constant posts whinging about the so called lack of released information, screenshots, videos or whatever.
We got GTHD, GT5 Prologue and we have had many things confirmed as well as many videos. What more do you people want?

Jeez, now we have more information and a confirmed date and you people still complain. I expect you still won't be happy when GT5 is released - perhaps you guys need a new outlook on life? Damage has been included, we have Ferrari, Lamborghini - they're coming close to including everything we could possibly want and you people STILL complain about the waiting a few extra months? I bet they fix sound in GT6 and people will still whinge about the wait, I guess Polyphony can never win, eh?

I think I'm going to save myself the time and stop reading this sub-forum because its getting worse.
