That's a really weird looking car. It looks like it has some sort of swelling disease.

If you're talking about the livery it's to disguise the corners/aero etc... To try and stop other teams of getting a decent idea of what's going on.

I'm not talking about the livery. I'm aware of the camo liveries, and I don't think they camouflage much.

But if you look at the front wheel arches, they're extremely bulbous and vertical at the front. The canopy and rear wheel arch continues the bulbous styling, to an extent much greater than I've seen on other LMPs.

It looks to me like one of those cars where the designer might say "this is modelled after the curves of a woman". Except that those are usually done for aesthetic purposes, whereas an LMP is purely a functional item. If making it look like a plate of sick would make it go faster, most teams would.
