The McLaren F1 is my all-time favorite car. Ever since the advent of the MP4-12C, I've always loved that car. I even once got up close and personal at the MP4-12C at the 2014 Houston Auto Show. These 650S and such are great cars. It will be interesting to see these cars will perform against whatever their primary competition is.

The images are rubbish - looks more like CGI :lol:

And I'm not keen on the colour or the wheels.

But the car should be immense... carbon tubs are the only way to go for high performance cars with no roof.

Leaked images of the McLaren 688HS-only 25 will be made. It will have 13 more hp and be 88lb(40kg) lighter then the 675LT. And it it will go 0 to 62mph(100km/h) in 2.9 sec.

@Last Daimyo Yes, but it is ruining the after market prices for these cars. It's already happening & that is one of the main reasons people are reluctant to buy McFlurries. But all the high flying celebrities gobble them up like no tomorrow.

Maybe the resale value will drop like a rock just like Rolls Royces and Bentleys! :drool: $30,000 650S. :drool:

Delusions are fun but at this rate it could become reality. :P

@catamount39

It's possible it has happened with Porches as well. Until Ferrari & Porsche figured out how to maintain their aftermarket prices for their vehicles. McLaren can build fantastic cars on the same level as the best of them. But it seems to me they haven't figured out yet how to maintain their exclusivity; properly.

If that does happen in the next 10 to 20 years it would be the perfect time to buy them before prices start going back up for them. Just like the old Astons & Jags.
