Sorry to ask this, im sure it has been answered before, but what does it mean??
i have gathered that it it a racing term (obviosly) but is it just a fancy way of saying grand touring??
Peace

And short for Grand Touring is of course GT, the definition for any car labeled a GT is : Boasting as much and no more luxury than performance, capable of crossing miles of terrain with 4 passengers and their belongings comforrtably; the GT cars usually have a front mounted engine and rear-wheel drive with only 2 doors.

This is from "The History of the Automobile" some old book my Dad has.

how informative. :D
i found out what it meant on the ride home from Wal-Mart when i bought GT2. that was a while ago...

It's in the GT3 VERSUS book. this book is a good help.

I have found more errors and misinformation's in that book, than I can count!!! They must have used a different version or some pre-release version of GT3 to get all of their info because you can hardly go by what it says....
