^ Who knows, might be a future potential candidate for a Black Series...Stick it in the road car, stck it in the road car!
The problem with naming your cars after a popular racing series. How long before Porsche kicks up a stink about this if it's production name is called "GT3" as well?
If they don't, Aston will have been singled out, and that is no bueno. How long before Porsche kicks up a stink about this if it's production name is called "GT3" as well?

Look for a debut sometime in 2016. We’re still not sure what the car will be called, though we know it won’t be badged a “GT3”. Moers has already said that that name—for road car applications—belongs to someone else, something Aston Martin recently found out the hard way.
Why not call it AMG GT Black Series ?
Bentley got away with calling theirs the GT3-RI dont get how Porsche can claim rights to GT3.
Maybe just call it GT3-S
Since AMG is all about putting S on the end these days.
Why not call it AMG GTS or AMG GT-S. It clearly looks nothing like the GT3 race car so why bother trying to tie in with it?
GTR might get complaints from Nissan, but plenty of manufacturers have used 'GTS'.
Yeah then GT3-S is the best name I think.Bentley got away with calling theirs the GT3-R

Me neither. Ferrari certainly didn't kick up such a fuss with Pontiac and Mitsubishi using the GTO name and Maserati weren't bothered when VW and Peugeot began using the GTi suffix. Three letter acronyms shouldn't be the property of anyone, particularly ones named after very popular racing categories.I dont get how Porsche can claim rights to GT3.
Yes. The FIA GT3 started in 2006 while Porsche first introduced the GT3 (996) in 1999.Didn't the GT3 category come after the original 911 GT3?
