Well, that was educational. I apologize to any one I may have messed up in your battle, first time jitters. I think I see some room for improvement. Gotta work on that off track issue I'm having. Maybe more than 30 minutes of practice might help. I'm hoping to give it another go next week at Suzuka. It was fun listening to your chatter. I don't know how you can talk and drive, all I did was swear. Cheers.

Then it's something else. Even if a single person has me blocked that would do it but I honestly don't think it's that. When I looked it up most results said someone has the max player limit of the party chat set to 8. Now that we have 16 that number might be 16, but when the chat got updated it kept your setting at 8. If you didn't manually change it to 16 there may be problems?

Chat should default to 16 now. Let’s carry this conversation to a PM to make it easier to track and maybe we can get to the bottom of it.

Hahaha its going to be a fun series that is for sure.

We could have been #1 and #2 for the night if you didn't put me in the gravel lmao!

I had a lot of fun at that track. Tight racing and always somebody to race with and even dealing with racing traffic was fun. Suzuka is going to be similar. Can't wait!

J-dubz, I look forward to the battle this season. Keep your consistancy up and I think you will edge me out in points at the end of it all.
 
Had a blast. Wish I could do that one lap over, my results would of been much better!!! Still beating myself up over my flub the main. Had atleAst one honest pass in there that was well fought. Good showing everyone. My 1st heat race was alright though I got in a bunch of people’s way trying to pull a Kyle Busch save at Daytona and ended up looking more like grosjean wreck in Spain. Heat two saw an awesome save off of jw’s front bumper but him and moby were flying so I played in the sand and let them race through by the next lap!!! Ughhh !!! Hahaha. great combo looking forward to Suzuka. I also know what combo is getting picked if I ever get the wild card selection.

Well that is the goal we will see what happens. I'm really looking forward to it as last night was an absolute blast like you said there was someone to race all night wether it be you or @Grandpa Money staying right up my a$$. I got pretty lucky gmoney played the first fast really conservative and I was able to get away but once I got in traffic he was COMING lol

Lap traffic also played a big part in Race 2 when they were getting lapped the first time. That's just racing 👍

Lol I'm sorry about that I got a run going to the s thought I had got on the brake enough as I saw you coming over hell of a save though very very impressive to see how your skills have grown.

you're all good, i think it was a matter of two different entries into that turn and only so much tarmac to get it in there!

Thanks for the compliment, its frustrating cause i feel "i used to be faster" haha.... i also used to play with a wheel and not be a father... hehe...

honestly i think any gains in speed over the last few months have come from trying to be smoother and not faster, smooth is fast... i tell students that all the time in my RL driving intructing, i just cant seem to apply it in gran turismo. Also having a great group of people to race around and actually race them and not "avoid" them helps a lot, so thank you everyone for making this game exciting and fun again.

This right here is how it is for a lot of drivers(myself included). I always instructed students to use the games to learn proper race craft and to train your visual and audio senses. They can also help with your reflexes which is why its good to use the wheel and pedals as they help with your muscle memory aligning with your reflexes. The bottom line though is that getting out there and driving in real life is the best way to learn it all because there are so many more senses you have to learn and train. Like how a car feels through the steering wheel and seat.

I always feel like I should be faster in the game also but I find that without the sensation of feeling the car I have had trouble with getting that little bit extra out of racing in games.
